I'd bought two other helmets in the past 6 months and both had fallen apart with daily use so I asked all my friends who ride what the best helmet they'd ever purchased was. The answers came back: Shoei, Arai, and Schuberth with Shoei being the most commonly mentioned. This helmet isn't cheap, but one more expensive lid is cheaper then two more cheap lids so I expect it to pay for itself. It's comfortable, solid, has a ton of ventilation, and is a bit quieter then my previous helmets as a bonus. I'm happy.
Yes, I recommend this product.

First the good - I get compliments on it regularly so it obviously looks good. It's comfortable and the armor adds some valuable protection. I travel a lot for work and use my motorcycle as my primary means of getting around so I needed a jacket that I could wear on the bike on the way to the airport, wear onto the plane, and then wear to business meetings once I land since there's simply not room to pack a second jacket. This fits the bill perfectly.
The not so good mostly comes down to details. Things like the fact that the leather tassel on the front zipper flapped in the wind and whipped me in the throat when riding until i took a knife and cut if off. Also the sleeves are quite wide at the wrists even with the zippers down so I end up with a lot of cold air up my sleeves when I don't want it. Fortunately, putting thicker gloves on mostly blocks that airflow, but I can never completely eliminate it. Lastly, I was expecting a low collar but it might be more accurate to say that this jacket doesn't have any collar at all so if I'm wearing a shirt with a collar there's nothing to hold it down and it flaps about. a scarf would fix that in the winter of course but I'd rather not wear one during the summer.
Still, those quibbles aside, the quality of the leather is very very high, it fits well, it looks great, and it offers great protection.
Yes, I recommend this product.
