Overall, the jeans look and feel great. The waist and seat of the jeans form-fitting and comfortable.
My only complaint is that the legs are way too baggy. Not sure why they are considered Italian/European fit. Maybe a future reincarnation of the D6's will get improved in that area.

is the pants leg wide enought to fit alpinestars smx plus boots
They are quite baggy. The circumference at the opening of a size 31 pair is 16 inches. Measure your boot to see if that is wide enough.

What material is the logo patch made out of?
I am really just wondering whether or not it is leather?
The label on the backside of the waist line is suede leather.
