I live in Texas where it gets proper HOT! The amount of breathability and air flow through this thing is amazing. The thermo-liner is fantastic too, it will block a lot of the wind and keep you relatively warm during colder weather. Stylish, comfortable, and has a ton of protection which is upgradable just about everywhere.
My favorite gear and best purchase so far
Rides: 2009 Ducati Monster 696
Yes, I recommend this product.

Are the vertical stripes reflective?

Are the vertical gray stripes (as shown on the back of the red jacket) reflective material or are they just gray mesh?
Very much so! Whenever I take a picture with the Jacket on, the stripes just shine bright and sometimes even mess up the picture. Also, the reflective logo on the back is visible at night and just adds a touch of visibility
