I went in looking for a riding shoe to replace a pair of Harley Davidson low engineer style boots with zippers up the back. They felt okay while riding, but were murder to walk in with the high heel. They were also very hard to get on and off despite the zipper. Once I got them on, I'd rather take a nap than go riding.
The riding shoe that immediately caught my eye for its clean style and lack of laces was the Puma V2 Flat, and that is what I came into the RevZilla shop in Philly in search of. The SUPER salesman offered a selection of other comparable styles based on his assessment of what he knew about the products and what I told him. As it turns out, his first suggestion was the best for me. I still tried everything on to satisfy my own curiosity, but he was right about the shoe the first time. The Alpinestars S-MX1 shoe was comfortable, even to walk in. It has nice grip - which means no more slip & tip at stop lights with a 700 lb bike. The shoe is SUPER easy to get in and out of and seems to stay a comfortable temperature while riding in 80 - 90 degree temps. I thought it was a little too much for me style wise in the white / black combo, but the all black does the trick. It has cool looks, but is pretty low key.
The best part about the whole experience was the salesman who was more interested in getting the RIGHT shoes on me than he was in racking up a bill. I went in there looking for $220 - $250 shoes and ended up with $159 shoes because it was the RIGHT shoe for ME. How refreshing to NOT be asked the question, "How much are you looking to spend?"
While I was there, I also took advantage of his expertise while shopping for a new helmet. Like the shoes, he seemed to know everything about not just the helmet features, but their fit as well. I like modulars and currently own a Nolan N102. Until this shopping trip, I had not tried on the Shoei Neotec modular, but got to try it on back to back with the other models I was interested in: Nolan N104 & Schuberth C3. Up until that point, I really thought I'd never try on a helmet more comfortable than the C3, but that Shoei outshined it in just about every way. That will be my next helmet and I will buy it from RevZilla!
Yes, I recommend this product.

Will the transmitter fit in the cavity of a Nolan N102?

I noticed that the transmitter is roughly the same size/shape as the NCom compartment in my helmet. Will it fit in there?
