Kabuto Ibuki Helmet Finally, a modular that is as light as a full face helmet. In fact, Kabutos ACT EVO R composite shell technology makes the Ibuki lighter than the Kabuto FF5V racing helmet. The Max Vision Pinlock fog-free shield has an incredible field of view, giving the Ibuki a very open feel even when the shield is closed. Japanese engineering gives it a level of refinement not found in other modular helmets. An internal sunshade and Coolmax interior keeps you comfortable while reflective inserts on the rear of the helmet keep you safe. Features: Advanced Composite Technology (ACT) shell is a combination of hyper glass fiber and high-strength organic fiber Dual density EPS liner 2 shell sizes (XS-MD, LG-2XL) Wake stabilizer greatly reduces buffeting Detachable chin curtain CM-1 quick change shield system Pinlock-ready face shield and lens insert included Chin and head vents Micro-lock ratchet chin strap Eyeglass-friendly cheek pads Fully removable, washable, and interchangeable Coolmax interior Exceeds DOT & ECE standards Note : 2XL and 3XL are DOT only.

Have wanted a modular helmet for some time. I picked this one as I could get a near-premium helmet for the price of an entry level one. By the time you load up an entry level with items such as Pinloc, chin curtain, ... (things that come in the box of this Kabuto), the price is close enough that it made the decision easy.
The sizing runs true. I had a couple of pressure points on my temples, but these went away after a couple of rides as the helmet conformed to my head.
The visor is a little fussy to take on/off, but not terrible. I've ridden in a couple of rainstorms, and the visor is not water tight - aggravating to get water collecting on the inside of the closed visor.
Quality is very good, though I did notice that the paint is a little thin in spots on my hi-viz yellow helmet - looks like the white base coat is showing through.
The pinloc fog free lense works great, as does the sliding sunshade.
The chin bar latches solidly, though I am still learning how to operate the small release button with my gloved hand. I don't mind that the controls are on the left side, feels kind of natural to me.
Chin strap works good, though I see what some say about it digging into your adam's apple a bit.
So far, just minor gripes, I really like this helmet and would not hesitate purchasing again.
And oh, Revzilla is great to work with and their price matching is the real deal.
Yes, I recommend this product.
