Snug, quite, one-handed chinstrap operation; refrigerator like gasket around visor; air spoilers on face shield; fabulous chin vent; ample head vent (big holes, but don't feel enough air out the top). I bought Hi-Viz option ... it's highly visible ... and it has built-in sun visor...
The feel of this helmet is super plush...luxurious even. It's worth it if you can afford it.

REV'IT! Airwave Pants The perfect match for the REV'IT! Airwave jacket, these trousers are also great over-pants to wear on top of your jeans during summer commutes. The large air mesh panels allow for maximum cooling, but that's not all they're on and off in seconds, thanks to the long side zippers, which go all the way up to the hip. Reflective panels at the lower legs ensure great visibility at all times. Even more, the Knox Flexiform CE-approved armor is located in height adjustable pockets, allowing you to position the armour just the way you like it. Available in classic black or fresh silver. PROTECTION FEATURES Outer shell polyester 600D , PWRshell 500D stretch , PWRshell mesh , polyester rib Visibility laminated reflection at calf Protection fully perforated EVA foam at hips , Knox Flexiform CE protection at knees ERGONOMIC FEATURES Fit tour fit , regular Adjustability adjustment straps at waist , adjustment tab at ankles Ventilation ventilation panels at legs Features easy entrance zipper at calf , adjustable protector pockets , short connection zipper , elastic at waistband Pockets slit pockets

Slightly Small
Large
I think I may have gotten a size too small - except that it's a perfect fit in the waist as well as the length (maybe a bit short riding). I got the XL Short.
These don't really feel like "summer pants" and I can only get air flowing when I stand up (while riding). I find them very tight in the thighs w/ little *ahem expansion room in the groin (short in the crotch).
Not sure what to think about the air flow and the fit, but the quality is excellent and though a bit beefy for "summer" - I doubt if I went a-sliding I'd think they were beefy enough.
A sideways zipper, backwards and upside down? I was surprised how easy it zips. The back zipper is awesome - it's zips to the Airflow jacket ridiculously easy.
I think with a size larger, there would be more fabric around the thighs and it would allow more air to flow while riding. Having to stand up to get flow is silly. I'll revise if I size up...Good pants, but several other reviews agree w/ the bulk and the tight areas.

Hard to believe how much air flows through this jacket, but was very pleased with how much tighter and more secure this jacket (as I'm sure most others would) made me feel on the road. I wanted lots of air, a little hi-viz and no flap. I got that.
My only complaint - and it's big but you can deal with it - is that the two snaps on the neck are no where near my neck size. The far one must be for pencil necks, while the near one is also for pencil necks. I also find the height of the neck distracting/annoying (too high) but think I would appreciate it if I wasn't forced to make it so tight. I would prefer a simple velcro tab for the neck closure. My work around is simply to leave the top rail unsnapped, but at 70mph I'd rather it be closed. I find that I wish the jacket ended at the top of the zipper instead of continued up through the top "rail" w/ the snaps. The pull on the main zip tucks neatly inside the zipper flap so there's no flap about that...same for the outer sides.
The pockets in and out are welcomed; the outers hold my lighter weight gloves, one each (you could stuff and bulge with two if you had to); appreciate the loops to hold a cable on the inside to the zip; and like the variety of one pocket being zip, the other velcro.
Bicep snap to tighten could be useful, but for me it's similar to the neck snaps in it's ridiculousness sizing. I'm hardly buff, but if you're a pencil neck and pencil armed dude, then you'll have some options.
If you're used to a snug fit around your neck or wear a tie all day, you probably won't mind my only complaint.
Love the waist cinches and inside jeans belt loop but the pants zipper is inverted and bass ackwards for an acquired set of Rocket pants, but the success of this jacket makes me want the Airwave Pants anyway. Is this a Euro/American thing? Not sure, but expect the backwards part to be Rocket.
I also purchased the Knox TP2 Advance X CE Back Protector. Helps my mental state on the road. It probably cuts down a bit on the flow out the back and does hold some heat, but given how much air comes in the front, I'm often happy for some retention.
I purchased the XL.

Use as an overpant?

I'm interested in using these as a commuter overpaint in the summer to go overwork cloths. I currently have a set of Axis pants in Large which fit great. Would sizing be the same with these pants?
Well, I sized them to fit and I find them small - very tight across the thigh with little room in the crotch. I can't imagine using them over pants at the "correct" size - go up one. Two?

What accessories go with this? Does it come with an insulated or waterproof liner?

Liner?
Insulated?
Waterproof?
No liner option that I can see, so you'd have to rely on a base/mid layer. It flows so much are that you must call it a summer jacket. Close to zero insulation at speed. It has a zip pocket on the left chest inside with loops to hang a headset from (keeps the cord in place). Velco cinches on wrists and waist but also w/ a jeans snap belt loop.
