overall fit- TINY measure from the chart and still go a size up if you are beyond the halfway point of the range you are considering.
overall protection- well constructed should do a decent job
overall comfort- comfortable construction, well done seams, etc. however the padding is almost negligible. I normally commute so that's fine, but the 2 hr ride the other day had me wanting more cushion.
I've got short fingers and pretty much even in a men's small American glove everything will fit except a couple fingers will be too long- so I bought this Euro cut glove. I took the measurements and bought a small but beware if you are anywhere near the top end of the size range size up! I now have a medium which would be wrong according to the size chart.
The carbon triangle has a much larger area below the surface that you can not see. If the glove is too short this triangle lands where it is trying to bend over your knuckle and creates a ton of painful pressure- gotta get that right.
Breathes well, seems well constructed.

Yes, I recommend this product.

What size should I get?

I measured my hand at 3 1/2 inches. The size chart says this is a Medium. However, the video talks about the gloves running "bigger." Should I follow the size chart and get a M or do a L?
You probably need to go BIGGER than the size chart says. I was measured in the small range and that was significantly off. I now have a Medium. I even have short fingers! Also, they've gotta fit so that the carbon piece is entirely on your backhard not vainly trying to curve around your knuckles because it's too short.
