the flow thru ventilation holes are blocked by the 3d0 material?
When the T5 was manufactured, the mold they used allowed seepage to occur, blocking the ventilation holes with a thin membrane of 3d0 material, effectively negating the whole point of ventilation holes. I spent a good hour with a sharp knife cutting little holes...(just writing this reminds me what a PITA it was). Anyways, once that was done, and the overall form cut down to the Knox shape to fit my Rev'It jacket, it feels fine. I dont know how protective it really is, and hope to never find out. But I will say that I have 3d0 armor in my downhill mt. bike gear, and it is really amazing stuff, having saved my knees numerous times.

Can this be cut to fit any size/brand back pocket? Firstgear jackets have small protectors.
short answer is you need to trim it to fit, which takes about 5 minutes
