Michelin Commander 2 Front Tires Peformance Features Unrivaled tire life Michelin tests with a Harley-Davidson Electra Glide Classic prove a Michelin Commander II is capable of covering up to 40,000 kilometers (Almost 25,000 miles). The Michelin Commander II creates a new standard in regards to durability, without making compromises in wet weather grip, maneuverability or stability Silica Rain Technology integrates silica into the compound of the tire tread in order to prevent all forms of uneven wear The exclusive architecture of the Michelin Commander II brings both maneuverability and stability. The tires rigid, high-density carcass improves maneuverability, while the aramid fiber crown ply of the rear tire enhances resistance and lightness for impeccable stability, even at high speeds Numerous longitudinal grooves of the new tire's tread pattern optimize water dispersal for outstanding wet weather gri Independent tests show that the Michelin Commander II rear tire lasts almost twice as long its main competitors, the Metzeler ME 880 and the Dunlop D407/408. Technological Features Amplified Density Technology A highly dense, more-rigid tire casing, which helps deliver excellent feedback and handling Aramid tread plies on the rear tire resist centrifugal growth, reduce weight and provide excellent stability All-new rubber compounds for remarkable wet grip, without compromising durability Square bead wires improve casing rigidity, handling and ease of installation Styling Features Unique tread pattern for head-turning looks Premium sidewall treatment complements cruiser styling Please Note Check your manufacturer's specifications for required load ratings when replacing OE Tires. Please Note 140/75R17 size is a radial tire. Please Note 130/90/B16 is not suitable for fitment to rear wheels.

i purchased these tires for my Vulcan 900. the Dunlops were bald. the first thing I noticed was the improved handling. amazing. second was the tire not tracking in grooves in the road. it does not follow grooves, it goes over cracks without tracking. this is the BOMB in theD/FW Metroplex with construction everywhere!
got caught in the rain, and these handled great. still have there nipples on the tires, so tread life is good. have about 400 miles on them so far. I an very impressed with this tire. did I state that the handling, especially in curbs, is excellent! the Dunlops new didn't handle this well. get you a set now!
Yes, I recommend this product.

I have a Kawasaki Vulcan 900, and it was time for a tire. The Dunlop sucks. I went with the taller 180/70-15 tire vs 170/80-15 on the rear. It lowers the RPM's on my bike a lot and spread the gears out a bunch. It is a little quieter(I have Cobra Pipes) I have 150 miles on this tire, and I love it. Gotta get used to the better handling! Ordered my front today. Get you One!!!!!
