Shark Speed-R Sauer Helmet SHARK is proud to present a new philosophy. Utilizing all SHARKs expertise in safety, innovation and function the SPEED -R is a helmet specifically designed to meet the passionate demands of un-faired motorcycle riders. Double blade air spoiler positioned at the rear of the Speed-R, it allows the air to flow above and below the blade, hence the dual venturi effect to extract warm air from the helmet. Spoiler/stabilizer at its rear base trim the Speed-R has a spoiler, which stabilizes the helmet and the cancels the buffering effect. The immediate benefit is no air turbulence running inside the helmet and greater stability at a steady speed. Features Latest generation composite long fibre construction Integrated, drop down sun visor Extensive wind-tunnel testing to perfect aerodynamics and ventilation system for use with naked road bikes Double cavity rear spoiler creates faster air circulation to drastically reduce fogging Rear deflector stabilizer reduces helmet buffeting Faceshield varies in thickness and is optically correct, scratch resistant and anti-fog coated Completely remove and washable COOLMAX lining Shark Easy Fit glasses system offers wearers a comfort lining which has a pre-tted system to accommodate all types of glasses ECE 2205 and DOT approved Two shell sizes

I will not be very technical on this review, I will only say the fundamentals on choosing a helmet. It is very comfortable, and feels light. On saying so, it is somehow irrelevant other issues , as if it is not comfortable, there is no point to ride with a helmet, because that factor would override any other safety points. You need to feel comfortable and not distracted. Now, it fits more on the round head type. The shield do not have detentes, but I always close my shields anyway while moving, then, this is not an issue for me. It is a high end quality helmet; good fit, plush interior, nice finishing. It is well above 200 dollars range helmets on quality and fitness/safety and there is no confusion at this point, and I have helmets from the 200 dollar range to 700 hundreds. I ride a naked bike and this helmet behaves very good under those conditions.

Icon IC-02 Pro Shield Faceshield The Pro Shield from Icon distinguishes itself from the Icon Classic Shield by means of the helmet shield lock. Icon made the switch in 2010 and all of the newer models (listed below) now take the ICON Pro Faceshield. The exception to the rule is the Icon Airmada Helmet, which takes the Icon Optics Faceshield . Features Fog Free Face Shield for ICON Helmets The ICON Proshield (IC-02) is fitted with a helmet shield lock to keep your shield securely closed Designed to work with Domain 2, Alliance, and Airframe Helmets Will NOT fit Alliance SSR, Mainframe, or Domain (1) helmets, ( Icon Classic Shields available for these models) Will NOT fit the Variant (see Icon Variant Face Shield )

The best of this shield is that does not fog, and there is not vision distortion as with the films on pinlock shields which affects safety. You do not have this problem with the free fog ICON shield.

Icon Alliance Torrent Helmet The Torrent graphics are bombed across the side of the virgin Alliance shell. Tagged and dripping, the cranial fracas screams for attention. A remix from the Icon shells of yesteryear, the Torrent barks it profane ideology at 150 bpm. Gritty street slang executed with monochromatic aplomb. Can you dig it The Icon Alliance Torrent Helmet matches the graphics on the Icon Contra Torrent Jacket and comes in white or charcoal. This baby brother to the Airframe has chops! All World Standard, meets or exceeds the following DOT DMVSS 218(US), ECE 22-05(Europe), SAI AS1698 (Australia) SG (Japan) safety and testing standards. Does not ship with SAI or SG certification stickers unless purchesed from an authorized dealer in that country Injection molded polycarbonate shell for strength Long oval headform Chin venting system reduces shield fogging Fully removable/washable Hydradry interior Quick-change fog-free proshield with sideplates Prolock shield locking system Wind tunnel tested and refined Molded twin channel supervent for increased cooling Rear exhaust ports prevent heat buildup Removable molded breath deflector reduces shield fogging

Good solid helmet, great design (reason I bought it) and interior quality, clear shield does not fog. This is the best feature as fogging is a great problem, and some very expensive helmets fog a lot and you have to invest money in anti-fog pinlock shield and films at expense of some sligh vision distortion. This is not a problem of ICON and that's great. The only problem in this helmet is the shield changing system which is hard, very hard. You have to unlock, then remove slide plates, then put back without being able to see because of the plates. This is a big problem I hope I get more profecient and/or the system became softer. Otherwise, is a great helmet. Note: when buying smoke shields make sure you buy the anti-fog ones, as not all of them are.

They ran in the narrow side. I have a narrow feet and still squeeze me. If you have a wide foot do not attempt to buy it. Quality looks good and unobtrusive, not flashy. Good price for high end boots. They are warm, therefore, definitively they are not for summer.Air flow is low, but is a winter/rain booth which is expected.

It is a great winter Jacket. Have a nice long neck collar which would protect you from the cold and also work as a safety feature in my opinion. Beware of the size. European size runs small. Definitively, buy one size up! If you are a Large choose an Extra Large. I am not a big guy by any means; 42 chest and the size large seems that would explode on my chest. I have to return it and get an XL. Everything else, very good.

Best money spent. Great capacity, holds lunch, books, clothe, etc at the same time. Magnets hold good at any speed and do not scratch paint. Easy removal when putting gas.. I have driven 91 MPH without shifting loads. Rain cover also stay put and do not shift. Great looks and do not fade. Looks great on sport street bikes and are ergonomically great when compared to tail bags unles you are tall enough to swing your leg. Also definitively aestethically superior on sport street bikes. No enough time to apraise durability but I expect optimum results.
