Upgrading from a pair of overpants (that had knee armor and padded hips)... to these.
First impression that these are some beefy pants.... which makes sense given the multiple liners.
Take out the winter insulating liner and they take on a much more supple and leaner feel.
Put them on and they fit true to size... like a pair of well fitting straight jeans.
Armor fits where it should and the foam on the hips and the kidney area provides much comfort to those who are worried about whacking something hard.
Could use some more shin protection... I understand that they leave that area free for boot riders but an extra inch or two wouldn't hurt and would probably meet the requirements for many.
I have yet to ride with these pants... bike is still in the shop... so this review will get modified once I have a few rides in.
Yes, I recommend this product.

What Size?

There seems to be no real clear chart on sizing for these. I have a 34 waist and about a 34 inseam. Would I go with a large? Also, would these pants work good as overpants, or are they meant to wear as pants alone?
I wear a 27-29 pants. I got the size small and they were a very tight fit over a pair of gym shorts with the insulating liner. 6ft tall, 155lbs, most of my height is in my legs so these pants are slightly short on me. I have a 26 inch waist and 38 hips. I have chicken legs.

I believe the size small is for 28-30 waist... so they fit true to size / small.
