I moved up from Q2 Pro to G9 and I couldn't be happier. The Q2P was good, but the G9 is so much better, the improvement in sound alone makes it a worthy upgrade. If you are considering the G4 and need the corded mic like I do, then the G9 is a better value as it comes with an extra corded mic in the box vs. having to buy one separately.
The key to this set and any other set for this matter is finding the perfect spot for the speaker placement inside your helmet, although i noticed the G9 speakers are the most forgiving.

Although I haven't had a chance to test this insert in cold damp weather yet, so far I don't have any reason to suspect that it will not do it's job when required.
