I'm pretty much a Klim guy. Most of my gear for various types of riding is Klim and has been for quite some time. That said, I thought it'd be good to give my wallet a break and see what could be had in a more reasonable price range. Glad I did.
This jacket's materials, quality, and features would all be very difficult to beat at the price. It dons easily and wears comfortably and safely. It's reflective panels are discreet yet show very well. Armor (D30) quality and placement are excellent and ventilation in easily and effectively tunable.
The liner is effective when used with an appropriate base layer, though I've opted to go with Firstgear's Softshell Jacket as my mid layer for a bit more warmth on cold (>40°) rides.
The fit is definitely American and a just a tad boxy... which for me is ideal for both comfort and layering. They also got the collar, cuffs, and cinching very right.
Can't really see a downside to this jacket other than it makes me scratch my head wondering why it took so long for me to find it.
Yes, I recommend this product.

This jacket endeared itself to me very quickly as it's an ideal mid-layer when used over my base and under my Klim (Goretex) Powercross Pullover. It's comfortable and dry from 40's to 70's. The material is excellent and offers no resistance or binding. My outer layer slips right over it with no catching or snagging. It's basic style and comfort are excellent as a destination layer in rain or shine.
All that said, it does have one flaw... The zipper. While it does operate easily and normally, it had come off it's track when pulled to the top. This occurred without excessive force and under normal use. I believe the very top track component which is to keep the zipper from ejecting itself has fallen off. The zipper still did work, it just had to be placed back on track and not pulled to the top.
I've sent it back to FirstGear (EXCELLENT SERVICE REPRESENTATION) and am awaiting it's return.
Funny timing as when I returned from the ride when the failure occurred I was going to place an order for another.
As I've seen this problem reported elsewhere I think it may be a systemic problem. If so, I'll just fab some kind of "stop" on the track to keep it from reaching the top... As I simply don't want to ride without this essential (to me) layer.
Yes, I recommend this product.

Simple and fast best describes this lock. In no way will it stop even a mildly determined thief, but it will dissuade a casual thief in plain/public view.
The features are all as advertised and I use the product often. I just wouldn't count on it (or any similar product) when parked in a dark or out of the way area.
Other than that it's a handy little item.

... But these are a notable exception. I've always been a cotton kind of guy except for paddling, cycling, and various other high-friction pursuits. At a friends suggestion I gave a pair of these a shot and now I won't wear anything else. They're ideal for layering and overall hind comfort. The difference in butt-comfort at the end of the longer days is profound in comparison to cotton. I'll be getting a few more pair for the longer hauls.
Construction, fit, comfort, and durability are typical for a KLIM product: Excellent.
In my opinion you cannot go wrong with these briefs as long as they come in your size.

Shoei Neotec Modular Helmet Evolving on previous designs, Shoei has revamped its modular helmet style with a streamlined and attractively sculpted shape that conveys the feel of freely moving through the outdoors in the Shoei Neotec Modular Helmet. Overall shell size is kept compact by incorporating the internal sun visors open/close mechanism inside all ventilation mechanisms are shaped and positioned in such a way as to reduce any possible drag. A redesigned aerodynamic spoiler also helps to cut lift, reducing neck strain on long, cross country rides. In the Shoei Neotec all these features combine to create a premium helmet that excels in appearance, protection, comfort and performance. The Shoei Neotec Helmets chin bar is connected to the same axis point and mechanism as its shield, minimizing extra parts. This also enables simultaneous closing of the shield with the chin bar, which is then held in place with an easy-open lock release button. The shield lock system offers secure closure or the ability to keep the shield slightly open to allow for increased airflow. With the Shoei Neotec Helmet, Shoei now includes a built-in sun shield, the QSV-1. From the moment I removed it from the box it was apparent that quality and style were abundant. Like all Shoei's, (at least for me), it starts out a bit on the snug side. This is preferred, as in short order it will feel nearly custom fit when the foam relaxes and gives a bit. It's very comfortable and cushy with no undo squeezing or gaps. Then again, I likely have a prototypical Shoei headform.
Anything that moves on this helmet moves very well and very positively. The latch mechanism, shield, and tinted shield each operate as you wish they would; with feedback and tactility.
The tinted visor offers excellent coverage with no annoying mid-placed gap or funky nose-area geometry.
The main latch is secure and leaves you with the feeling that the designers found that ideal sweet spot incorporating both form and function.
The shield movement and detents are solid, well spaced, and leave little doubt that it'll stay put at each station. Although I haven't removed the shield yet, it appears to be ridiculously simple. When it's time to put in the included Pinlock it should be a breeze. Given the season and my locale I've had very limited time with this on the road thus far. In that short period I experienced very good ventilation.
If you've got a "Shoei head" and you're looking for a modular, I can't imagine not being impressed and pleased with the Neotec.
As a footnote, I've installed a Sena SMH10R bluethooth headset on this helmet and it could not have been simpler. Mounting and wire routing were without issue.
Yes, I recommend this product.

Excellent sock. It's terry construct makes it comfortable as well as aiding in ventilation. They're even indexed for left & right foot. They keep my feet warm and dry. To me they seemed over priced a bit. That wasn't the case once worn. They're worth every penny to me. These came by way of a salesman's suggestion. He was spot on.

Nice fit right out of the box. Took a little walking around and adjusting, but after about 20 minutes they were dialed in perfectly. The easily adjustable buckles accommodate adjustment easily and positively. Haven't tried them in heat, but winter conditions lend themselves well to the boot... Especially when paired with Rev'It Tour Winter Socks. I'll use Klim warm weather socks when the weather breaks.
I removed the padded insoles for a better fit with the heavy Rev'It winter socks and will re-insert them when switching to summer socks.
The boots are warm, waterproof, and moderately protective. Break in time was minimal. Traction is very good.
Can't see a downside to these as long as they hang in there for the long run.

I purchased these at a salesman's recommendation as I had fitment issues with a pair of KLIM Caldera's.
Unfortunately, these hadn't worked out either as the fingers averaged about 1/2" - 3/4" too long. I had no complaints about the apparent quality of these gloves as they seemed very well constructed of high quality materials.
I'm now awaiting the next replacement pair... Held, Warm N Dry.
Upon speaking to Mario, I'm confident these will be the ticket as his concern and attention to measurement and detail was exemplary. That review to follow.
Please take this review with a grain of salt, as it is in no way a negative commentary on this glove. Moreover, without having a custom glove fitment and build no one can really expect a perfect fit with any glove as there are simply too many dissimilarities in hand sizes and geometry. But man, it sure is nice when you hook onto one that fits from the word go. I hope that's your finding.

Being faithful to the Klim brand I purchased a pair of these pretty much knowing they'd fit as do my Klim Inversion, Dakar, and Powercross models. I was wrong.
Ordered in the same size, these were a completely different animal altogether. They fit very tightly in the hand. In fact, I was barely able to insert my hand past the wrist cinch. Once in, I unfortunately found the fingers were considerably longer than my other models as well. In short... The fit was way off in my case, which I found strange in this price range.
As for construction, they seemed to be straight A's there. Seams, materials, and quality each appeared to be up to Klim's typical quality.
In my case these didn't work out. YMMV.

What is the best method of cleaning the interior liner components?

If you're referring to textile liners: Machine wash cold, gentle cycle, mild detergent, air dry or gentle/low heat in a dryer, then fluff. Do not use fabric softener.

If you're referring to helmet liners: Remove from helmet and place in a zippered mesh bag specific to laundering (can be found at a dollar store). Machine wash cold, gentle cycle, mild detergent, air dry. Do not use fabric softener. These tend to dry fairly slowly due to the foam's density. If you're in a hurry put it in the sun in low humidity. Otherwise, wait it out.
