I just rode in these boots on 2000 mile trip through the south of Mexico. I felt very well protected all the way through. The boots are easy to get into and out of. Most of the riding I did was in very hot weather. The boots are not very well vented, so your feet will start sweating after a while. It's probably because they are waterproof.
The waterproofing works pretty well in puddles and slight rain. However, if you want to keep your feet completely dry in heavy rain, you will have to wear waterproof pants, as water will drop into the boots from your legs and your feet will get wet with other pants.
Regarding the sizing, I had seen they fit rather large, so I bought exactly mi size and use an extra pair of sox. If you want a really tight fit, you can probably try half a size smaller.
These are excellent boots for the price you pay. I would definitely recommend them.

I used this bluetooth headset on a 2000 mile bike ride through the south of Mexico. The communication was great. It was really useful while on B roads and for overtaking. Depending on your helmet, the intercom will work up to 75-80 mph, which is pretty impressive. I loved the fact that you can have a full duplex conversation with up to three other headsets (Up to 4 riders can listen and speak at the same time.
I also paired with my Galaxy Nexus mobile phone. Very easy to use. Great for listening to music or navigation instructions. Range is as advertised when you have line of sight, however it drops significantly when obstacles get in the way.
Battery will last up to 10 hours on intercom, which is much longer than most bike trips will last. However, if you have the proper tools, you can charge it while on your bike.
This is my first intercom set and I made my choice based on the reviews. Although I believe it is a bit pricey for an intercom set, I would definitely recommend it for intercom, music and navigation. It will probably change your riding experience.
