I'm always looking for good winter women's gloves. These nearly fit the bill. They offer more protective padding than the average winter gloves which are just insulated, but the only true hard parts are the knuckles. The fit is a bit snug so I ordered one size up than what I wear for summer gloves (Revzilla's size chart worked well for these gloves). I've ridden in 40 degree weather at 80mph with Freeze Out glove liners and my hands were cold but still functional. The gloves are bulkier than summer gloves but that's to be expected. I can still manage the controls. These gloves have taken a while to break in. My biggest complaint is that the palms feel small but the fingers are still too long. The pointer and middle finger aren't too bad, but there's a lot of extra space for my ring and pinkie fingers.

I've had these gloves for about 6 months and I really like them. They've got some of the best protection I've seen on women's gloves including sliders on the pinky side of the hand (to help prevent a commonly broken bone in low side crashes). I wore them in 90 degree heat and my hands did sweat, but there was still airflow. About what you'd expect from ventilated leather gauntlets. They won't work as winter gloves though. The stitching has frayed a bit, but the integrity of the glove seems really solid. Looks nice and the protection is worth the higher price tag. They're a bit bulky to go under jacket sleeves.

anyone else noticed an uncomfortable seam on the thumbs?
when I wear these for a long ride, there's a seam in the thumb area that rubs and puts a lot of pressure on my hands. it gets really uncomfortable after a while. they're the right size (finger length, etc) but i am not sure what to do about this. has anyone else noticed?
I noticed the same thing, but only on really long rides in the extreme heat. 500 miles one day in August, it started to really bother me, but no blisters formed and my hands felt fine to wear them again the next day. You could try trimming the seam or maybe taping it down with moleskin, but the former would lessen the integrity of the glove and the latter would create some more bulk.
