I've been looking to armor a couple of Hein Gerricke jackets and a leather Firstgear. But didn't want anything bulky or that would make the jackets look like I was wearing LaX gear under them. These are actually labeled Hein Gerricke on the armor and are thinner and more pliable than any other CE rated armor I've seen. Very stealthy when installed making tha jacket usable when not riding. Added bonus, Revzilla has the best pricing anywhere on this armor!

How do these pads fit in the garment?
There is no documentation with the knee pads, and nothing on the pads themselves to indicate their orientation. Does the smooth side face out or in?
The smooth side has indented corners for some sort of attachment. I assumed that would orient the smooth side to the inside.

Pad dimensions?
Can someone tell me what the pad dimenions are? I would like to see if they will fit in my Firstgear pants - it has internal pockets in the hips. The pocket size is 4" wide at the opening. Goes 8" deep/long and up to 5.5" at the widest section.
They should fit very well. Sorry about the blur.
