I purchased this helmet on the recommendation of a friend who loves his.
Found the helmet is a bit too round for my oval head. I have been able to mitigate this a little on other helmets by going up a size but the Evoline stops at XL'
This would be my first choice of helmet if the fit was right. Other than the pressure on my forehead the fit was great. That is why I gave it an excellent rating. Cant blame Shark for my head being too long.
Fit for me was the only CON for this helmet. Here are the pros:
>chin bar mechanism is secure both open and closed.
>Good balance. I prefer to ride with an open helmet. With the chin bar in the open position the helmet still feels balanced.
>quietest open helmet I have used.
>easy to install speakers
>internal sun visor
>2/3 primary shield. With the chin bar open I really liked having a face shield that didn't cove r my whole face. Minimized fogging and I could drink my coffee w/o opening the shield (yes I ride a sport touring bike with a cup holder).
>I had the red Arona graphic. Loved it.
I loved this helmet and wish they had one more size
Yes, I recommend this product.

I purchased this helmet because I wanted to continue to use the excellent Sena SMH10 system. I also purchased the Sena adapter for the helmet.
Pros:
Helmet fit is true to size on the size chart.
Internal sun visor- easy to operate. First helmet I have used with this feature. Nice to maintain full field of view with sun protection. Nothing blocking peripheral view like sunglasses do.
Good acoustics for Sena speakers.
Multiple detentes for main shield
Snug fit all around
Cons:
Very high wind noise. I haven't tried the helmet with the cowl removed to see if this makes a difference to the noise level or not. HOWEVER- foam ear plugs mitigated the wind noise and allowed for clear sound from the speakers for music and phone calls. Wind noise is a given with an open helmet and the Mag 9 is quieter than my current HJC. The wind noise becomes pronounced at freeway speed and is not bad at speeds under 50 MPH.
Gap under left cheek pad when Sena installed.
Removal of the EPS plug leaves a gap and removes the velcro that holds the back of the cheek pad to the edge of the helmet. The cheek pad can fold or get caught when putting on the helmet. Since I will be keeping the helmet I will probably just modify the plug to fill the gap and return the velcro attachement hopefully eliminating this issue.
Overall this is a good bang for the buck helmet. Comfortable to wear and good sound for the Sena system. I also like the cowl/visor for blocking out bright sun with a tilt of the head.
Yes, I recommend this product.

I cannot speak to the durability of the product as I have not had it long however the battery life is excellent and so is the noise cancelling. People on the phone don't even know I am on my bike until I get past 65 mph and they can hear a little wind noise. I have gone on 2-3 hour rides listening to music or talking with my passenger the whole time and still had at least 25% (probably more but the battery indicator only gives a flash for every 25% of battery life). I am very pleased with the product and Revzilla's review (watch the video) was spot on.
Yes, I recommend this product.
