I came to Schubert from Shoei helmets previously. Having tinitus (ringing in my ears), I was really attracted by the low decibel rating of this helmet. I agree the helmet is the quietest helmet I've owned, but two things lead me to be unhappy with the purchase. First, the pad over my eyebrows continually push down on my glasses. As I wear transition lenses, that means they go out of focus and I have to either push them back up, which is an every minute requirement, or ride with my head at an uncomfortable angle so my vision is in focus. I think this is a ridiculous problem for a company that reportedly does so much in the line of R&D. Didn't it ever occur to them that riders might wear glasses?
The second problem is due to a slight bump of the helmet while carrying it. The top vent broke within the first month of ownership. Yes, Schubert replaced it for free which I truly appreciate, but not the slide mechanism which adjusts the airflow. For such an expensive helmet, this part seems really cheesy and flimsy.
So bottom line, would I buy another? NO.

No, I do not recommend this product.
