This is my first helmet. I wasn't sure about the fit at first, it was a little tight. I had to open the modular face to put it on. After a few times on & off, it has eased up a little. I was glad it fit tight after getting up to 75 on the interstate the other day. It wanted to lift for a second, but was secure due to the fit.
I love the shape of this helmet. Not heavy on the shoulders even in the heavy wind. The air flow vents work well. Not sure if they will close off too well in the winter. The noise is kinda loud due to the modular lines on the face. It's just something you have to deal with, but you can lift the face at a stoplight if it gets too hot. That is worth the trade off for me. Sometimes I have to turn my head 30 degrees to hear the engine.
Overall this is a very nice helmet from Bell. I havent really needed the drop down shades, but its nice to have it. I have the 2012 model. Bike is a 2011 Harley 48.

The are my first pair of riding gloves. My initial impression was, they look amazing, fit tight, & might not be very good palm protection in a fall. They do breath very well in the 90+ summer heat. They have stretched a little after a few rides. My only gripe was some of the neoprene material in the inside was rubbing my knuckle. It had a hard texture in the inside. I folded them inside out, trimmed the edges of the neoprene with some scissors & voila, problem solved.
I can access my iPhone with the gloves on. Not perfect, but it does work in a cinch.

Does this helmet come with the lens shown in the image?
I really like the matte black version with the dark lens, so I'm just wondering if the helmet comes with the clear lens or the dark lens..
It comes with the clear lens. I'm pretty sure Revzilla carries the smoke lens. I actually like the clear lens. If you want it darker drop the built in shades. Hope this helps!
