Was having trouble finding a helmet that would fit me in the jaw/cheek area and was getting nervous I would have to order smaller cheek pads. So I went with the helmet I was eyeing for a while and got these cheek pads and I can tell you that they made the helmet fit like a glove. They were just what I needed to fix my problem!

Bell Mag 9 Cheek Pad Set Replacement cheekpads for Bell Mag 9 Helmets. OEM sizes XS 55MM SM 50MM MD 45MM LG 40MM XL 40MM 2XL 35MM Note All cheek pads are interchangeable between the different helmet sizes. Remember, if you need more room in the helmet you need to order a smaller (thinner) cheek pad. To make a helmet tighter, you would need to buy a larger (thicker) cheek pad.
Can the XXL cheek pads be used in the XL helmet for the Bell Mag-9?
Being a rather large adult man, while my head measurement would fit the XL, I am concerned that the OEM cheek pads (40mm) might be too tight for my face since I wear prescription glasses. Can the 30mm XXL cheek pads be used in place of the 40mm cheek pads in the XL sized helmet?
I would imagine that they should fit if it is the same shell size, most helmets go the same shell size from xs-s then m-l and xl-xxl.

What cheekpads can make my helmet fit better??
Hello I purchased a RS1, medium size a month ago and it fits me nice and snug, a little too snug, not intolerable but I wish it could fit me a little less snug, I thought it was going to break in more and not fit so snug but after a month it still fits like new, I should have ordered a large, that would of been perfect. The helmet itself is great, highly recommended.
Anyways my question is, would replacing the cheekpads from a smaller helmet size make my helmet fit better?? or less snug on the cheeks??

If the helmet is very snug on the crown of your head (the top) then new cheek pads would not do much. But if the helmet feels tight on the face then new cheek pads will help a lot. Try taking your cheek pads out and put the helmet on, if it is still very snug on the top then you might of needed to go up one size. If it feels fine then new cheek pads should fix your problem.
