Great jacket. Slim fit. I'm 5'6" 136lbs, with a 30" waist and 37" chest, the small fits to a tee. I plan to wear the jacket for commuting in fair weather, so I am more concerned with protecting myself from asphalt rather than rain. I believe the trim/snug fit will keep the shoulder and elbow pads in place if'n they're needed. I tried a Joe Rocket/Powershift product before this one (taking advantage of Revzilla's awesome return policy) and found it woefully complicated with zippers and liners... and the small was so loose it felt like I was wearing a garbage bag filled with fishing nets and CE armor.
If you're trim, consider Alpinestars.
Yes, I recommend this product.
