I find these tires provide an excellent compromise between the features that matter to me in a tire and it's price: traction, tread life, noise, safety. They are almost a 75-25 on/off tire, and if one drops some air pressure they work well in typical off-pavement situations. I do not know how they nught work in sand (I hate sand!).
Overall i have found this tire (and this is my fifth Shinko 705 rear tire) to be a great value.
Yes, I recommend this product.

I guess this is a problem I have with Sena. If you can't use the "stock" connection you have to pay $30 to get the one you do need. It would be better to offer different combinations or to sell the Sena unit without a helmet connection and have everyone buy what they needed.
Other than that, it's a great product.

I'm a Large Person, which makes it hard to find decent riding gear that will fit me. These pants come real close to being right. I'm not usually a fan of overpants, but with the mesh and removable liner, they may do the job for me. I titled this "too early to tell" because I've only had three short rides since getting them, Spring has been late in coming. A better review would be in August, after riding a few thousand miles with them. Typical First Gear product, well-made, reasonable compromises on materials and fit, I've used their products for many years and expect these pants to be similar to other products I've owned from them.

I have a BMW GS, a Zumo 665, and an iPhone. I have custom molded earplugs with embedded transducers that function as earbuds. I have been using a hardwired connection to the Zumo for GPS, satrad, and MP3. With the Sena SMH-10 I now have the equivalent to hardwire through an A2DP link, and with the iPhone paired to the Zumo I have pass-through to my helmet for phonecons. I bought the separate helmet connector to mount the SMH-10 onto my Arai RXQ and use my earbuds. I also installed the fixed microphone.
The only shortcoming to this rig is that I would like to have been able to also have an A2DP connection to the iPhone in order to play music from the phone, but only one channel is supported. However, there is a 3.5mm jack on the helmet connector that will allow me direct connection from the iPhone, which is an acceptable accommodation.
This was an easily-installed, easy-to-use, quality product. I recommend it without hesitation.

Seems First Gear changed styles. This may be the last of the old style. But the old style is a great style. Effective, inexpensive, long-lasting. And Revzilla was a great place to get them. Helpful, courteous, fast fulfillment.
