Nicolapalooza's Reviews

The new Sub glove chassis enjoys several benefits previously found only on gloves at a much higher price. Built around a proven Battlehide goatskin palm and finger gussets foundation, the Sub is more than ready for asphalt chaos. A lightweight textile backhand with a high-mobility thumb, not only creates a prime canvas for Icon's finest art, but provides excellent dexterity and abrasion resistance. Completing the protection package is the plastic knuckle armor group fortified to help disperse the shock of the incoming tarmac barrage. The Sub glove - designed to do your dirty work so your skin doesn't have too. Abrasion resistant premium grade Battlehide goatskin palm Injected plastic knuckle armor Short cuff design with secure wrist closure Pre-curved palm and finger design Imported

The fit is true to Icon sizing, but compared to their other gloves, these fit on the smaller side. They keep their shape a little better too. There's less stretching out due to the material used. They're not heavy or bulky, but very slick and light. One thing I do like over more armored or thicker gloves is you don't need to remove them to perform basic tasks like using the ATM, fueling up, thumbing through your wallet, etc... For me, I think they're awesome for cruising around. When I'm feeling aggressive I do wear a more protective glove, though.

I've used this since May of 2012 and it has not disappointed. Bike is well ventilated, stays dry in all conditions and the best part is I can throw it on right after riding. The material is really tough, yet it's very gentle on my bike. It also folds up small enough into a carry bag that fits under my seat, so I can bring it anywhere. Everyone told me, "don't spend any money on a cover, they're all the same". My experiences have proven otherwise and this cover is worth the extra couple bucks.
Yes, I recommend this product.

After logging about 5000 miles with this hat this summer, I can say it's the best full face I've ever had. It's light, there's good field of vision, venting is pretty solid and at higher speeds it really stays down. The liner stays true to form after washing and the shield is fairly simple to swap out, but still touchy like most Arai products.
Yes, I recommend this product.

Only have about 2500 on these tires, but I noticed a difference compared to my Pilot 2s.There's improved wet traction, smoothness and handling. Michelin has hit the mark with this product line. Great job.

My first Arai helmet. It hasn't disappointed. Feels good, even on those long rides. I don't get fatigued. There isn't a lot of drag. My temperature stays even. I feel safe with it on. That's what counts for me.

Nice jacket. The sizing is right on the money for sleeves and chest. It's got good protection and feels light, even with the liner. It's definitely a 3 season garment in New England. Quality product that feels good and looks good.

These are a quality glove. They fit true to sizing chart. I always take an XL in every glove I ever buy. I trusted the Icon sizing and went with the large; perfect. They're comfortable, not too bulky, offer decent protection and pretty stylish. Little pricey for a mesh glove, but I think they're worth it.

These are great riding shoes. They're protective, comfortable and stylish enough to get away with wearing when you're taking a pitstop. Best part is that they are versatile. Living in New England I use them 3 seasons a year and without ever an issue whether it's raining, hot or cold.
