I bought this jacket because I wanted a true 4-season jacket that would perform whatever the weather threw at me. I have not had the opportunity to try it in the summertime, however I have put it to the test here in winter. I headed out for a ride yesterday morning....it was 9 degrees. I rode for a half hour at highway speeds, once briefly taking it to triple digits. This jacket was amazingly warm and windproof. It is comfortable and stylish. I am 195#, 6-3, with a 36" sleeve...the Large Tall fit perfectly. I chose the Hi-Vis Yellow. I love this jacket!

Very well made and quiet...some issues with my oval head

Bang for the Buck
Protection & Durability
This is a very well made helmet. It is obvious that much R&D has gone into the design. This helmet clamps around my head with no air leaks. The venting seems to be adequate as I have not had the opportunity to try this helmet in the summertime. As far as wintertime, yesterday morning I headed out for a ride....it was 9 degrees. My head stayed comfortable inside and the Pinlock visor did its job well with no fogging for most of the ride. However, after 20 min. at this brutally extreme cold it did start some frosting up around the edges and creeping into the vision area. I did this ride to put the helmet and some other gear to the extreme test. All in all, I believe it did well, considering the circumstances. My only complaint about this helmet is, if you have an oval head like mine, you may have some fit issues. I was getting the telltale red mark on my forehead after riding for a while. I took a spoon and compressed the front interior foam slightly to help with the fit, and that helped. I knew going in that this helmet might not fit my head perfectly, but i wanted the best, and this helmet is the best.
AltRider Triumph Tiger 800XC Side Foot Stand Kicking down your side stand shouldnt make you worry about a falling or sinking bike. This is the only side stand foot on the market with a top plate that encloses the foot from every angle -- theres no chance of losing this one. Notes Compatible with OEM centerstand Not Compatible with Hepco Becker centerstand Compatible with Tiger XC model
This is a well made product that is strong and durable. However, I found that, after I had installed per the instructions, the fasteners projected down through the base of the bottom plate. Someone else's review mentioned that they ground down the screws after installation. I added additional washers in between the top and bottom plate to make up the overage. I had to remove and re-install the foot a few times to get the right fit. Having said all this, I like how it looks and functions quite well, even though the installation had some challenges.
