These just dont have the protection I was hoping for. They really dont seem any better than much cheaper non-motorcyle options like combat boots. The quality also isn't that great on my pair. The top layer started peeling off of the leather in a few places within a couple of weeks. They do have some light ankle protection but that is really all I see they have over regular boots.
They have stayed waterproof in some downpours so that is a plus. I have since switched to Icon Elsinore boots for regular wear but I do keep these around for rain.

These are pretty much thick cotton with some reinforcements in the knees. I think theyre great for city and maybe country roads, but I wouldnt want to go down on the freeway in these. If you do alot of freeway riding look at the Air Drakes.
They look awesome though. I have the green color and they have to be the best looking motorcycle pants I have ever seen.
They do fit tight. I wear a 35 in Jcrew jeans and I ordered the 54 size in these and they fit well (well as in slim like real motorcycle pants are supposed to).

Icon Elsinore Boots The Icon 1000 Elsinore's five-strap, alloy-buckle chassis, stamped metal heel plate, and internal steel shank combine for a serious dose of moto-x homage. The traditional Goodyear welt construction mates the Icon street-specific sole to the magnificent leather upper. A medial entry zipper, allocated from Paratrooper jump boots, is the only luxury the Elsinore will allow itself. A modern relic from an era when men were iron and tanks were steel. The Elsinore, old-school MX reinterpreted for the urban sprawl. Features 12 top grain leather upper Goodyear welt construction Icon cast metal buckles Icon stamped metal heel plate Heat pressed leather shifter panel Heat pressed molded leather shin plate Internal ankle protection Axialmetric steel shank YKK Zippers

I love these boots. I have been looking for some boots like these for a while now. They look a few rides to break in but they feel great now. As others have mentioned, the insole sucks, but thats no big deal.
I normally wear a 10.5 in most things but in certain boots, like Redwings, I wear a 10. I looked at the sizing and ended up ordering a 10.5 in these and they fit perfectly.
As far as ventilation, in 90 degree heat my feet have been getting pretty hot, even with Alpinestars summer socks. Not burning hot though so its no big deal to me.

I normally wear a medium glove in Mechanix, Oakley SI Assault Gloves, and all of the Triumph gloves I have tried so I followed the suggestions and ordered one size up. When I got the large, it turned out to be noticeably too big. I returned the larges for mediums and they fit perfectly.
When I first tried the gloves on, they were a little uncomfortable and tight feeling. After two hours they were fully broken in and fit perfectly. Not sure if I have wierd hands or what, but they don't seem to fit a whole size small compared to the other gloves I have. A maybe 1/3 of a size or so, but that seems to give the leather the opportunity to stretch a bit and really conform to your hand.
As far as ventilation, Ive been wearing them in late May Texas heat and they do get a little hot, at least hotter than full mesh gloves. But I expected that and they are cooler than I expected and by no means unbearable. I would prefer sweaty hands than worry about mesh gloves falling apart. And these gloves feel very substantial.
This was my first Rev It product and is so good that I will certainly be buying more in the future.
