Gerbing's Permanent Dual Temp Controller Two separate heat controllers in the same unit provide two separate heat controls for two different articles of heated clothing, such as for gloves and jacket liner Digital controllers insure that your heated clothing uses only as much power as requested Wires are UL listed and completely safe, in all weather conditions Three-Year Warranty Installs on any accessible panel (some drilling required) Includes complete mounting instructions Note Gerbing's changed the style of the extension cords included with the Temp Controller Kit. The kit now uses a 1 dual extension cord instead of 2 individual cords.

It was easy to install on my 2012 BMW K1600GTL. had to take all the faring pieces off on one side of the bike to be able to route the wires from the battery to the faring. the indicator lights are good for the daytime, but may be a little bright for night use for some people, used it all last weekend, it was 20 degrees in Caribou ME and it worked great. had the jacket, pants, gloves and socks plugged in, I was toasty warm! be careful not to drill into your gas tank on the GT / GTL, its right below my mounting location. I would recommend placing the plugin ports / wires on the left side of the bike, giving a little extra slack when dismounting. be sure to turn your controllers off BEFORE plugging in or unplugging.

i got the midland CB 75-822, it fit & plugged in fine.
(side note: this really belongs on the Sena SR10 review: the remote Wired PTT button extension for handlebar grip mounting button that comes with the Sena SR10 Bluetooth bridge doesn't work. it made a loud, unfriendly noise on the CB's of my riding buddy's when i pressed the transmit button. so i used just the Sena Bluetooth bridge and pressed the button on that. that worked fine.)

I'm using the Midland 75-822 40 Channel CB-Way Radio on my BMW K1600GTL and this Sena SR10 Bluetooth Two-Way Radio Adapter / bridge to get the CB transmissions to my Sena headset. it works great. the battery lasted all day (7:30am-10:00pm) and probably still had more juice. it was clear reception never failed to sink up. the unit is rubberized, and looks like it can make it thru a rain storm! it has aux inputs too, I'm going to plug my GPS into it. it also is smart enough to give the CB priority over stereo. the external push to talk PTT button i got for it didnt work. everything else is great. get one.

It sinks up with my 2012 BMW K1600GTL. music works good. it could use a little more bass but it sounds fine & clear. I dont normally wear a helmet. (barley fits under my half helmet.) comfortable enough for 500 miles. battery lasted longer than i did. i used it from 7:30am all day till 10:00pm on one charge. listened to music and did CB transmissions thru the Sena SR10 Bluetooth Two-Way Radio Adapter / bridge.

Can this installation be combined with a Gerbing's Panel Mounted Port?
Looking for a better set up for my heated gear than I have now- my accessory plug in is not in a convenient spot. Could this permanent temp controller be combined with two gerbing panel mounted ports for a complete installation?
yes it can. I will be getting the pots for my bike as well.

Does this come with any Ear-Cups?
On the Sena website it shows these with leather type ear cups and this is not pictured on your website. Just curious if they come with it.
they come with 2 different types of ear cups / covers. 1 set is the puffy leather set and the other is a (plastic snap ring covered by a) soft grippy rubber cover set
