Great vest, comfortable and great quality. Has a zipper on the inside back to stitch back patch if needed. Leather is soft like I have been wearing it months. Plenty of pockets 2 on front, with 2 button clip (gun holster inside as well) and 2 open pockets on the inside. The fit is just right, Large for 46 inch chest with a little bit or room, great when wearing over shirt buttoned or loose over another leather jacket. While riding jacket is comfortable, ventilation is not great and may get a little hot in hotter days (above 27C in Australia) but thats how it goes if you want the more enclosed look and feel.

Fit: This is what I was most worried about. However all was good the fit is perfect in the Large size for me. I got a US Large (EU 54, UK 42/44). I have a 45’ chest with some padding around the stomach area, ha ha. When zipped up with the lining it fits snug, I should be able to fit a Hoodie underneath if I take the lining out. The arms feel snug but not tight, the length of arms is perfect while on bike and about half on the wrist when off the bike. Zippers on arms create a nice tight fit. The jacket ends around the waist just covering the jeans with slight tapering at the back. On the Revzilla site they have a video and the guy wears a LG and has a 46” chest and it looks a bit loose on him, mine is a lot more fitted with no real loose baggy bits.
Style: Well it looks awesome, the Brazilian cowhide leather is a matt Black so it has a slight vintage feel about it. The zippers are black with red seams. The removable lining is also red with actual lining being black. Plenty of pockets inside and out. I agree with Scott about the side arm patches, they could go.
Comfort: Basically I picked up the jacket from the post office this morning, opened the box, put it on and off I went. It feels like I have been wearing it for months. Nice and warm while shooting through on Anzac bridge Sydney. The leather is soft and feels great.
Protection: The jacket has back, shoulder and elbow protectors. They are very thin and you can’t notice them even being on, inside and out.

Is the icon 1000 too warm for summer?
Hi I live in Singapore and the temperature ranges from 27-33 deg Celsius all year round. Will it be too warm for the icon 1000 jacket? Thanks.

Im emailing form Sydney AUSTRALIA, so I can understand your weather. I only just got this and we are coming up to winter so I will have to wait and see but I think this could get pretty hot when in weather maybe over 26C - 28C. It does have the vents on the back sides but not sure how it will work. Definitely the lining will be taken out.

About my size
Hi, I have a Dainese Carbon Leather Jacket (size 48), and it fits me perfectly. Will Icon Chapter 1000 Jack (size S) be too loose or too tight for me?

Not sure if this helps but I have the Dainese AirFlux (Mesh material) in the 54 (US Large). it fits snug. The Chapter jacket feels a little looser on than the Dainese. Im a 45' chest.There seems to be more room in the arms and chest area, but it is till a tightish fit. If you take the lining out it is looser still and slightly looser still if you take the pads out as well. Generally the Dainese leather jackets feel a bit tighter but they may stretch over time. I think you should be fine getting the size you are.
