Used this product out of the box on an 8 day 2000 mile bike hike through 6 mid atlantic states with brutal heat and humidity. Fit perfectly. Very comfortable on bike and off - I didn't need to change even for the evening activities. Fantastic grip - like I have not felt before. Very sure footed. My bike is hot. Air cooled, catalytic converted 110 Screaming Eagle motor in the North Carolina summer heat. My feet did not get hot, and if fact were always comfortable and dry. Where the boots ended I could feel stinging heat on my calves.
Cons - my wife thinks they make my feet look small, and the zipper is on the outside which I wish it weren't because my spine is 55 years old.
Yes, I recommend this product.

I used this helmet to take a 2000 mile hike from Chicago to the Tail of the Dragon over the last 8 days. It is a well made and comfortable helmet with tremendous visibility and clarity. It is much quieter than other helmets to the point I was at times as much as 500+ RPM higher than I thought due to reduced noise levels. But above 50 MPH you will need another solution to the noise. Air flow was the critical issue for me. The weather was brutally hot and humid. With the shield fully closed it was very uncomfortable due to lack of circulation, heat and high CO2 levels. Opening the face mask one click solves that problem but creates another - severe buffeting, and or fog. I did not have the fog shield pin lock in place which would probably have solved the fog but not the buffeting. My bike has a fairing which directs all of the air to the crown of my head. With the crown vent open there was noticeable but inadequate relief from the crown vent. The mouth vent made no noticeable difference, open or closed. My finish is matte black and had a small flaw on arrival. I think it will likely scratch easily, like all others. Communication is still an issue. It will not collaborate with the OEM Harley Davidson system so you have to take your hands off the bike if you are using sound / communication equipment.
Yes, I recommend this product.
