My regular jacket is the Alpinestars GP Plus Perforated Leather Jacket, which is already perforated and leather. But it's kinda on the heavy side. I bought this Rev-it Airwave to have a much more light and summer jacket. I'm planning to rent a bike while on a trip in Taiwan, and so this Airwave jacket will be perfect to carry along and has good airflow. The fit is very good, I got a medium (I'm 160 lbs, 5'8" normally wear 32 or 33 jeans). The sleeves are adjustable at the wrist which is perfect. Its got shoulder protection and a back pocket for a spine protector. I'm getting the Revit Seesoft KN-106 back pad and hopefully should fit. The jacket comes with some foamy back pad but it's too little protection to my taste. Normally I only prefer leather jacket but for travel and extremely hot summer, I needed something lighter and cooler. Style is good too. Neck is not painful. I got the Alpinestars Quick Seal Out Two-Piece Rain Suit to be ready for the rain.
I ride a Monster 620.

The protection is made of composite, so it's not as strong as steel or titanium, but still very rigid. They are very comfy, thin and yet padded and protective. At least I feel safe with them, I haven't crashed yet to check their real protective feature.. but I feel safe nevertheless.

Dainese TRQ-Tour Gore-Tex Boots A TeamZilla favorite, the Dainese TRQ-Tour boots are perhaps the best option for commuting, or sport touring. Collectively, we have put thousands of miles as well as a few crashes on the Dainese TRQ line and they never fail to impress. Recommended as a 3-season cold-weather boot that stretches nicely into the warmer months with Gore-Tex breathability, the TRQ-Tour Boots are the kind of protection that you will forget to take off! The axial hinge provides excellent protection, while allowing for comfortable movement as you walk. In addition, the rear entry zipper allows for easy entry/exit to the boot. For my head shape, this helmet is the best snug fit without blocking my head blood flow. Snell rating, so I'm confident with the safety. Noise-wise might not be the best, but for the price I think it's a good compromise. I use ear plugs anyway.

Very good looking. I usually fit medium, and I got small with those gloves. The leather is a little thin, so if you look for more protection, maybe a thicker glove would do better. The fit is very comfortable.
