Icon One Thousand Elsinore Boots The Icon 1000 Elsinore's five-strap, alloy-buckle chassis, stamped metal heel plate, and internal steel shank combine for a serious dose of moto-x homage. The traditional Goodyear welt construction mates the Icon street-specific sole to the magnificent leather upper. A medial entry zipper, allocated from Paratrooper jump boots, is the only luxury the Elsinore will allow itself. A modern relic from an era when men were iron and tanks were steel. These boots are very well made. I am impressed with the quality of the leather and the attention to details. These are a steal at this price.
The fit was true to size and quite comfortable after initial break-in. (I wore them around the house for several days.) The leather is a bit dry out of the box, so I've given them 2 treatments of Lexol conditioner. This helped limber up the leather and accelerated the break-in process.
The styling may not suit everyone, but I really like it. Very unique modern twist on an old school boot. If you like the looks, BUY THEM now!

I must say I am disappointed in these gloves given the price paid. The carbon fiber knuckle protection presses against my knuckles too firmly to be comfortable for long rides. Finger length is okay, but the internal seams have too much material and rub my fingers and finger tips. Ventilation is average. Construction appears to be above average/good. Size chart indicated I needed a large and I ordered XL. There is NO WAY a large would have fit me. The gloves feel good when on my hand, but once I grip the handle bars the knuckle guard starts pressing on my knuckles. I hope they loosen up, but I'm not sure I can stand wearing them enough for it to happen. I am going to soak them in water and wear them until dry to see if the fit improves. If not, they are going in the trash..... Too bad since they are nice looking, well constructed gloves.

Fitment
Totally wanting to buy the Elsinore boots. My fear is I usually wear a 8 1/2 to a 9". Do they run big or small? Not sure if I should order the size 9" or stay with 8 1/2?
I wear a size 10 and these fit true to size for me.

Removable footbed?
Does the foot bed actually come out so I can put in Superfeet, or will I just have to use an insert?
