It's been cold and wet this back week and my feet have been neither. A boot that costs less than $250, this is a great deal. It's comfortable to ride with and walk around. I've been pleasantly surprised how well this boot works. I had considered other boot makers, but after talking to the folks at Revzilla, I decided on the TCX boot. It turned out to be a good choice. Pro's : Waterproof, reasonably warm even with thin socks, good safety features and comfortable. Con's: Boot is a bit stiff, the boot is a little bit "tall" in that I have to push my foot down further to shift than I did in my last pair of boots ( but that's a very minor complaint).
Overall: Great boot at a great price.

Bang for the Buck
Protection & Durability
I've had the jacket for about two weeks now and have ridden in weather from the high 20's F to the low 60's F. I've been really surprised how well the jacket has performed so far. Especially since it's a sub $300 jacket.
I love the styling of the jacket. It looks good on and off the bike. It has adequate armor in the shoulders and elbows. Very simple jacket. It only has five zippers. One front, two sleeve and two side pocket. The pockets are roomy enough for a few small items, but not much more.
Performance wise, it just works. Keeps the wind out and allows you to stay warm in cold weather. I usually wear my Gerbing's heated jacket liner underneath and I stay nice and toasty on my morning rides.
Overall, I rate the jacket highly. A lot of value for the money.
If I'm being picky, here are a few things I'm not crazy about: The upper arms feel a bit snug, but that could because of dressing in layers. I hate the reversed-side front zipper. I wish REV'IT would build jackets specifically for the U.S. market. It's really irritating trying to re-learn how to zip up a jacket after a lifetime of doing it the "right" way. Not really crazy about the collar liner either. It's not particularly comfortable. I suspect, though, it will soften up over the next few months. Lastly, I wish I had waited a few weeks to buy. I would have saved even more on the jacket as the price has been recently reduced even more.
Overall, if you're in looking for a black leather jacket, you should take a look and put it near the top of your list. Can't go wrong with the Union Jacket. Good looking, great performing and a even better price!
