I bought this helmet at the reccomendation of a friend. I am comparing to a Nolan N103. I tend to wear modulars because I have to wear glasses.
I was looking for a quieter modular since the Nolan was deafening at speed. The Scorpion is most defiinitely quiter. It also seems to be a bit more comfortable. The one thing that amazed me was the air flow through the helmet. My first long ride was 500 miles in the Carolinas on a day that the temp was flirting with triple didgits and the humudity was in the 80% plus range. Granted, nothing but riding helemtless would be remotely comfortable, but I was amazed at the airflow when in the modular configuration and buttoned up other than the vents. Granted, i am balding, but I could feel the air flowing over the op of my head and was able to remain relatively comfortable.
This has become a favorite helmet.

I had a HJC CL16 and am looking for a modular helmet. The Scorpion helmet interests me but not sure about the fit.

I had an HJC CL-Max. In medium, the HJC was a little loose, but their small was too tight. The Scorpion is perfect for me in medium.
