Overall, I'm pleased with this jacket. Most of my other motorcycle gear looks much more geared to sportbike riding, which I'm fine with, but this jacket is much more of a throwback style. If I rode a café racer, I'd never take this off. It does run a little large, but Levi's denim jackets run a bit big too. One advantage to this is that I've been able to squeeze a down vest underneath it on those fall days which start out in the upper 30's but wind up in the mid 50's in the afternoon--it works really well. When it warms up, and all I'll be wearing is a T-shirt beneath, that little bit of extra space between shirt and jacket will undoubtedly help me keep cool. Besides, just like a Levi's jacket, the bottom of the jacket can be tightened up considerably by adjusting the snaps on either side of the waist. One other nice feature on this jacket is that it's got a nice strong zipper beneath the faux button snaps, so you know that if you go down in it, the jacket won't open up as you slide along the asphalt. I know that's a bit graphic, but protection is why I wear gear designed for riding, instead of "motorcycle jackets" sold in department stores solely intended to make you look good.
I only have two reservations about this jacket: #1# I'd prefer a traditional collar, but I see where they were going with the mandarin style; and #2# the leather is a bit thinner than the competition grade stuff on my other gear, I'd guess that it's around 0.8-0.9mm thick, not 1.1-1.3+ on completion grade gear--probably good for a 60-70 MPH get off, but I'd really worry about crashing while in this at anything faster than that. So it's off my list of things to wear when I'm going to be heading on the highway for any extended time. I've been riding #fast# for over 40 years now and have learned that the right gear can help to save my a*s at times. I'll probably replace the back protector with an SAS-TEC one, as while the supplied pad isn't uncomfortable, I've really come to love the additional comfort, without compromising protection) that the SAS-TEC protectors provide. All of that said, for the money, it's hard to beat this jacket for what it is.

I recently got this as a gift from my wife and have only ridden wearing it once, but I'm looking forward to winter passing so I can wear it again. As others have noticed, the fit runs a little large, but its sizing is pretty much the same as Levi's denim shirts, if you've ever worn those. To me, I like the extra roominess, as that'll be just that much more comfortable when the temperatures warm up.
This isn't something I'd wear if I was heading out on the highway, as I'm sure that a high speed get off would shred it to pieces; Kevlar reinforcing just isn't competition grade leather. But there are an awful lot of times when I'm just going to be riding around town, and this shirt is perfect--something somewhat protective to wear when you just don't feel like slipping on an armored mesh jacket over a shirt. From the outside, it looks just like an ordinary black denim shirt (a good thing!) The armor underneath isn't uncomfortable, but I plan to replace the back protector with an SAS-TEC one, as I've really come to appreciate their combination of flexibility with strength.

Are these gloves expensive? Yes. Are the worth it? H*ll yes. It's real simple: these gloves do a great job insulating your hands from the elements without significantly compromising feel and control; they also offer full protection if you should go down, and look really good. As someone who rides all year round, at least until the Mercury drops below 20 F, these gloves have been a great investment. This is now my second winter riding with them (without heated grips!) and I couldn't be happier. I know that I could opt for electric gloves, but I really don't need to, and besides, they keep me comfy when off the bike as well.

Overall I'm really happy with these boots, although I've only been wearing them for a month so far. When I've had them on, they've been on my feet all day long. They've been quite comfortable, although the expandable leather flap behind the Velcro closure does rub slightly--nothing major, but I am aware of it when I walk or shift gears. Also, the ratchet adjustment on these boots could both tighten things up more as well as release tension for removal more easily. None of these complaints are anything serious in my mind, just a few details which keep these very good boots from being amazing boots. I have no real second thoughts about buying them.

I've got half a dozen pairs of these and love how they feel in the summer. High enough to go past the biggest part of my calf, so they don't creep down below the top of my boots. While not a great choice for when it gets cold outside, in the warmer months, these stay comfy. Last, I've been using these for a couple of years now and they don't seem to wear out--pretty amazing.

This is the third Spectra Shield I've bought in two years. The first one lasted an entire season. The second, about two weeks before getting a nice scratch across the center--don't ask me how, it just sort of magically appeared.
I guess what's important is why I bought yet one more of these ridiculously expensive shields. First, well they look so amazingly cool on my helmet. Second although my version looks like a blue mirror on the outside, on the inside everything is filtered to a slightly dimmed yellow, which is absolutely fantastic when it's bright outside. Last, even at night, the reduction in brightness isn't so great that you can't ride with the visor down, as with some tinted visors.
Still, it is really easy to scratch the reflective tinted coating, so either be very careful with it or know what the next winning lottery number will be.

I'm now on my 21/2 set of Avon Storm II's (the 1/2 is because I snagged a nail about 200 miles into a set, which Avon replaced for me, due to their road hazzard warranty#. A really great all-around tire. It takes curves very well and delivers exceptional feedback for a tire designed for sport-touring. Yes, you can break the rear tire loose in the wet, if you push it hard, but ease off the throttle a touch and everything always comes back under control. In the snow #yes I ride in the snow) the center tread groving gives doable traction; something my previous Metzler Z6's never gave me. Overall, these tires give me all that I can ask for on the street.
For a frame of reference, I ride a modified 2005 Yamaha FJR 1300 with Wilburs rear shock and front springs, Galfer wave rotors with ceramic pads, and a very heavily modded/dynotuned engine. I actually do hang way off the seat going around corners on that big beast--the Avons have never let me down.
Yes, I recommend this product.

I bought a pair of these last fall, just to give them a try--I was tired of the occaisional chaffing at the very top of my harness boots which I wear in the winter. These socks were great. Exceeded all expectations. Super comfy, with the elastic top band coming just below the knee. Warm, but not so much to make my feet all sweaty. These under Kevlar jeans and I don't really need thermal underwear, except in the very coldest of winter days. Oh, and that single pair I bought over a year ago? Well, I still have them, but I now have half a dozen other pairs so that I can wear these every day of the week. I was a bit hesitant to spend $20 on a single pair of socks, but now I think that they were a bargain at that price.

SAS-TEC Back Protector Cutting edge SAS-TEC material is intelligent armor constructed from visco elastic soft foam smart molecules. It has earned the highest CE rating available (CE level 2), during an impact, the armor freezes and hardens, absorbing the shock and distributing its force over a large area to reduce the risk of fractures. The protector is not destroyed by impact, but reverts back to its original state and maintains its capability to protect from multiple impacts. SAS-TEC Armor has a soft and pliable exterior (as opposed to rigid KNOX armor) which offers a great deal of comfort and mobility. This protector is anatomically designed and fitted to provide superior spine and back protection as well as the base of the neck /between the shoulder blades. I bought this instead of the CE protector for my Joe Rocket jacket, as it looked like it would provide even better protection on impact than the factory J.R. product (and was quite a bit cheaper). With a little very easy trimming it fit the back protector pouch in the J. R. jacket, and is quite comfy. Hopefully I won't have to find out too soon how well it works!

I've been riding with these gloves in the late fall around Philadelphia for about a month now, and have been overall quite pleased with these gloves. Like all Held gloves, you pay a premium price for a premium product. They're a bit tight around my (quite large) fingers--especially at first--but eventually have broken in to give a good, solid, close-but-comfy grip. They've been warm enough to keep my hands OK on the expressways around 40-50 degrees, but I can tell that they'll be a bit too cool when it drops into the 20's-30's, as i don't have heated grips. For those really cold temps I have some Olympia's which aren't nearly as protective (my guess is that they were designed for snowmobiling), but then again, I typically don't go on log highway rides at below freezing temps. So for my late fall/winter/early spring needs, these Helds seem to fit my needs quite nicely.
Yes, I recommend this product.
