I bought them when I bought my first bike. I'm up in Portland Oregon, but we get into the 90's for a bit in the summer. Ir does what it is supposed to do for $130. I feel more protected. I can ride with them on in the summer, and the vents do work. I don't wear them everyday, in fact I have only worn them a more than few dozen times. Some of the stitching has already come undone, and the clasp at the front broke off and I have to wear a belt over the pants to keep them on. I would have spent more for a pair that was made better. But for the price, they do the job. The only areas with ballistic nylon are the knees and the inner calf area. I would like it everywhere, and the 10mm hip and lower back foam is a joke. Its thinner than my wifes yoga mat.
No, I do not recommend this product.
