The ICON Stryker Back Protector starts with a custom molded bio-foam chassis. Designed to mold to your back, air channels within the foam allow heat to escape resulting in reduced fatigue. Secured to the chassis are three layers of impact absorbing foam which are capped by an articulated reinforced plastic shell. The reinforced shell helps diffuse impact forces. In addition, the shoulder and waist straps are removable providing you with the option of installing the back protector into certain Icon jackets. EN 161-2/03/AC2006 Ce approval Removable shoulder and waist straps allows armor to be directly inserted into certain Icon jackets Custom armor plate finishing Comfortable and non-restrictive Custom molded biofoam chassis Imported

It fits perfectly in my LG sized ICON Overlord Type I Jacket. It tightens the jacket up around me just slightly but personally I like that since it's an assault jacket. It gives me a lot more confidence in protection than the flimsy foam piece that goes in originally. I'm 6' 185 to give you an idea on how it will fit for you. Watch the video on it.

I have a 06 CBR1000, I bought a size LG and it fits perfectly down to the wheels. I has a little stretch to it at the bottom of the curtain and hugs the wheels snug. Even with heavy winds it won't come off as long as you use the straps on the bottom, even so it still may not come off. I will definitely buy the same one again, but given how long they last, I understand that won't be for a while.

Is this compatible with ( IE slide into ) Icons Overlord Type 1 Jacket? Also maybe put out a list for all the jackets it will work with.
