I swapped my Alpinestars Bionic Air Back Protector with this Klim D3O in my Alpinestars TGP Air jacket. It fit right in, I have not percieved a difference in air flow in 90+ degrees and this offers at least twice the level of impact protection in theory.
That's a small piece of peace of mind at 40 bucks!

So maybe I had higher expectations from Dainese but this product falls short. It still is a very protective glove with a billion little features I hope I never need to test. Here is where and why it fell short of my expectations.
First, this glove barely flows any air. I was using an Alpinestars SPS and they used to flow a ton of air compared to this glove. Very disappointed as my hands got all sweaty and thats never a comfortable feeling inside a leather glove.
Second, the gloves are strangely broad at the knuckles. Not uncomfortable but just very broad and they dont look proportionate to your hands. It's an opinion but a well considered opinion given this is my 7th pair of gloves. It takes away from the styling in my mind considerably.
Other observations, the entry is tight and they take time to break in. The sizing is similar to Alpinestars. I would have also wished the velcro strap at the wrist closure was broader. The extensive protection on the pinky does limit some flexibility but I guess that is a tradeoff. I bought the glove at a promotional price so I really cant complain but its a sound, very protective glove which looks decent.

After riding in these pants in 95 degree weather, I'm a fan! It feels like riding in your shorts. Excellent airflow. The styling is another strong pro. got tons of complements on the pants. I really liked the deep pockets in the front. They are very useful and carry a fair bit. Most important, they dont crowd your hips if loaded. The sizing is probably a whole size larger. The knee armor runs down to the shin and it's position is adjustable. While the armor if from Knox, I feel at this price point, a better quality armor like D3O should have been provided.
All said and done, a very good buy and addition to my gear.
