I have had mine for about 2 months now and I am very impressed. To note: it does take 2 weeks minimum as it comes from Italy so take that into consideration when purchasing. I went with Tundra over the Talos as is a dedicated winter coat for Minnesota weather and I wanted the baked in Gore-Tex for beading in the rain/snow. So many pockets through out the jacket and liners are a nice touch along with the many custom adjustments that can be made. So far, I have worn it down to 20° F and still have not had to purchase a heated vest.
I like the elasticated leg attachments for longer touring or wet conditions (and helps keep pants up) and also how it integrates/zips with Dainese/Ducati pants (I own the Starda pants)
The hip adjustments are a slight pain but worth it to dial in that perfect fit around the waist and you should really need to do this very infrequently if at all.
The collar with throat gaiter is a unexpected treat! Layered with a good balaclava you won't feel that cold bite on freezing days and you can take it out when milder outside.
I found I can cannibalize the thermal liner and put it into my Air-Frame jacket as well as many Dainese parts are swappable
Pro's:
-Adjustability
-Style
-Comfort
-Protection/Safety
-Storage
-Warmth
-Fit
-Details/Extra's
Cons:
-The zippers can get grabby with the rain gutters especially on the sleeves. One trick I use is to run a finger inside while zipping down usually works.
-Venting. Very small gripe as I did get this with the intention of frigid weather, a back exhaust in the future would take this off my list.
Use the sizing chart provided by Revzilla as it is SPOT ON. Measure twice, ship once! If you are tired of being cold, this is the jacket you want hands down.

Dainese Air-Frame Textile Jacket Focus Continued comfort under changing weather conditions with excellent ventilation is hard to achieve in a ventilated jacket because whenever the temperature drops, the wearer immediately feels cold. In this case, the Air-Frame jacket offers the best solution by combining the ventilation achieved by ample inserts in mesh with protection against cold air offered by a remarkably lightweight windcheating insert. Provided with ample adjustment possibilities, jacket-pants fastening zip, homologated protectors and a pocket for a G-type back protector, this versatile jacket also comes in a ladies version. Features Removable composite protectors certified to EN 1621.1/97 Standard Boomerang fabric Quick Dry fabric Mesh fabric. Neck adjustment Waist adjustment Wrist adjustment Sleeve volume adjustment Jacket-trousers fastening system Removable wind-breaker liner Sanitized lining Pocket for backspace G1 and G2 Reflective inserts 2 outside pockets Internal pocket

I do like this jacket but it took a few weeks to get used to the euro-cut of it.
*This jacket is snug and high so use the Dainese sizing chart with a sharp eye for exact or a tad bigger especially if you use a thicker back pad.
*The included shoulder and elbow pads are decent enough but you may want to upgrade.
*Ventilation is fantastic, this was my main reason for going with this and not the Shotgun.
*Sleeves are nice and long, the buttons do sometimes open under my gloves though.
*Minimal storage with 2 outer and one inner pocket. I would have like 1 extra inner pocket.
*Looks wise, I find it to be very sharp and the reflective bits show up nicely as my wife informed me trailing behind.
*Torso, arm and neck adjustments are limited but enough. If you find they aren't go a size up.
All in all i am very happy with this purchase and does what it is intended to. Keep you cool, look good and offer medium safety at a reasonable price.
Matched my Ducati Diavel Carbon perfectly and I highly recommend this product. Measure twice ship once!

I normally wear a 36" jean in Levi which leaves a tad bit of room for a belt. For these I ordered the 35" as I read they run large but still had t do an exchange down to a 34"!
Once I got the right size these fit and wear great. They are snug in the hip and thicker tall boots will not fit under, but not really an issue at all. Perfect for warmer days when you may be running some errands or headed to an event without looking like its track day. Perfect for a casual Friday at work.
Decent protection for what they are and great styling. Buying a second pair as I am really liking them. I highly recommend them and Revzilla was great with the exchange.

How does the Dainese Air-Frame compare to the Air-Flux jacket? Which flows more air?

At 100F it will be hot no matter what. BUT, if I wear a jacket in that heat which one should I choose - Flux or Frame?(includes some stop and go riding)
Hands down, the Air-Frame. Not only does it allows maximum flow at speed, when stopped you will appreciated your sweat evaporating quickly. My favorite mesh I have ever owned.

Between sizes

I'm 6'0", 40 chest with sleeve length of 33 (work shirt length - i realize dainese measures differently). I've worn a 52 dainese leather jack and like the sleeve length and torso length, but just a very tiny bit big through the chest. But with back protector it's fine and I like to be able to throw on a sweat shirt on occasion when it gets cold. That said, I suspect a 50 would be just perfect in chest. So my question here is if I buy a 50 as a warm weather jacket (where I'd pretty much just be in a t shirt with a back protector), are the sleeves going to be too short? Yeah I'm thin and on the tall side. dainese / Icon fits me best, just seems I'm always in between sizes. Thanks.
I am also 6'0" but with a 42" chest and I use a 52 and the sleeves do have a bit extra past the wrist so yours should be spot on. Dainese seems to get it right with sleeve lengths for guys our size.

Hard parts?

on the website the photo of this suit shows aluminum elbow sliders. does it have the elbow slider or not?
On the Dainese site it does show aluminum hardparts for both knee and elbow. Also to note, Revzilla understandably was given a pre-production prototype as you can see they also esthetically improved the front torso design.

sizing

hello there,

I wear size 50 on my Alien jacket and the fit with back protector is just right. now after looking at your presentation video you said jason is 5"11 and over 170 pounds with a 40" chest and is wearing a size 50 . I am my self a 5"11 but 153 Pound with 49" chest. should I go with the 48 on this model ?
thanks
Go with either the 50 or 52 (if you plan on wearing any thicker garment underneath besides a t-shirt), these do run snug, euro fit, especially if you plan on a back pad. It slightly stretches but not by much.

Temperature Range

What is the lower-end temperature you would recommend for this jacket with the liner? Mid-spring to mid-fall means nothing to me, as it is 90F here in mid November. 60F? 70F?
The liner works well in the 55-70 range, after that I remove mine when in stop and go traffic or low speed traveling. If you are going a steady and extended 60+mph I would up that by about 10 degrees. You will REALLY appreciate it when the temperature goes over 90 as it did here over the weekend :-)

Is the wind liner a full sleeve liner?

Want to make sure the wind liner covers the arms and sleeves as well. If it is a full liner how does it attach to the end of the sleeves?
It sure is! It uses a 2 button in sleeves system and one in the neck with front panel zips to attach. It is super thin and can easily fit under most seats. Great to start of with on chillier 60 degree mornings and quickly pop eye once it heats up. Although it states to only hand wash this jacket I have thrown in in the washing machine on a gentle cycle and air dried (which it dries SUPER fast).

Back Protection besdies Wave G?

I know that this jacket is designed to fit with the Wave G back protector, but does anyone know how well it fits the Air G Level 2 or the Forcefield Insert Pro for Dainese? Those two offer CE Level 2 protection as opposed to Level 1 in the Wave G, but their shapes appear quite different, so I am wondering how well they would fit in the Air Frame's back pocket. I wouldn't want them to be too loose and moving around while riding, or too tight such that it is difficult to insert.
The Klim Viper T5 D30 fits nicely in mine without any modifications.
