First i have to say that the quality of these is amazing, the workmanship, details and design are among the best on market. The leather is very soft and stitching appears to be top notch. All armor is in right places. Love the removable foam "armor" on the hips. Now i can get some real protection for that area. It used kill me that most A-Stars pants have hip armor stitched in..
Rev'it is quickly becoming my most favorite choice of gear.
Sizing is true. although fit maybe a bit tighter that Alpinestars pants.
Yes, I recommend this product.

I've owned a number of different gloves from Dainese to A-Stars to Knox. Now i can tell with full certainty that there is no other glove on the market that feel better than this. The leather is very soft, kangaroo is an awesome touch, and stitching and armor is excellent.
Just be careful with the sizing when ordering. If you normally wear size L in other gloves, order XL in these, and most other Rev'it! gloves.
Can't quite comment on durability. Just got them from Revzilla. My previous gloves were Rev'it! SLR which lasted me almost three years.
Yes, I recommend this product.

Overall and excellent product with a very easy installation and sound quality. The microphone has an excellent noise canceling and the person on the other end cannot even tell tell that i am actually moving on the motorcycle at 80 mi/hr. Beware if you wear earplugs the music volume maybe a bit too low and if turned all the way up some song may get distorted. Also, the volume control range for the telephone seems wider that for music. Navigation sound is also crystal clear.

So far my favorite gloves

Had to have them replaced due to small sizing. I normally wear size large in pretty much all gloves, these ere very small out of the box. After i had them replaced for size XL, haven had an issue.
These gloves are not the Jerez ones (which are the best gloves on the market today IMHO) but the SLR gloves by far these are the best "feeling" gloves I've ever owned.
Extremely soft leather that is almost silky-feeling and very good ergonomic cut and protection make them my favorite.
One con: these gloves do not ventilate all that well. Though i rode them all through the NYC summer. Just because they are cut so well and provide the best feeling.
Pros Best ergos!, Comfortable, Fashionable

Excellent jacket, with superb workmanship and materials. Protection and armor feels quite adeqate as well.
I would recommend it to anyone who is looking for great functionality and quality, yet a product that fits any budget... Just have to watch the sizing. To me it felt just about one size smaller. I generally wear everything in XL, this one had to be replaced for XXL. Strangely enough this seems to be happening only to the 2009 models. I have tried some 2008 FS jackets in XL and they felt roomy enough. Otherwise excellent products!!!
Pros Rugged, Comfortable, Great Value, Fashionable
Cons Cramped

Will these zip in with my older alpinestars T-RC-1 Air textile jacket

the jacket is a few years old and has the zipper at the bottom
I would say they would. Unless you are, say, size 50 pants and size 58 jacket...

How do primary dimensions of these pants in size 50 tall compare to Dainese Delta Pros in size 50?

I've tried a lot of different pants and I figured I have a problem: long thighs. Dainese Delta Pros in size 50 fit absolutely phenomenally (slick fit overall), but were too short in the thighs (about 1" or 2"), so as soon as I hit the riding position the stretch panels were fully extended and they pressed the knee armor into my knees real hard. Bummer. Size up fit too baggy. Size 98 (i.e. 50 tall according to Dainese) fit almost the same way (just a tad longer in the bottom). So I wonder how RevIt Tarmac Pants compare to the Dainese around the waist, thighs, then importantly, from crotch to the knee and from knee to the ankle cuff. Could you please make actual measurements of the gear you have? Thank you!
I own both. Both fit me perfectly in SZ. 54... One thing though, Tarmac pants seem just a bit tighter in the cuffs and a tiny bit looser in the waist... Length wise, Tarmac SZ 54 standard pants are about half an inch above the ankle (i have 32" inseams) i think Dainese is longer, to accommodate for wearing boots in, i woudl guess.... Go figure

How thick is the leather on the knees and seat?

Just wondering if you could tell me how thick the leather is on the knees/seat area of these pants.
The leather is actually fairly soft and the normal thickness you would find on any suit or pants. I think it is 1.2 millimeters, which is sufficient. One thing i can say for sure is that i rode while wearing these pants all through NY summer which hot and humid.. with NO discomfort.
