Great boots. They keep my feet warm and dry while everyone else on the trip had some sort of issue with their boots after more than a few days of rain. Also I was worried that the boot would be too hot for true summer weather of 90F+. Turns out these worked great in the hot weather too, my feet were warm but were able to breath. Great entry and exit with interior zipper. The opening is adjustable for the largest of calve muscles. The only thing that I would recommend, if you are heavier or have issues with your feet, get some sole inserts. These aren't necessary for riding, but the walking that can occur between rides, more than a few hundred feet can start to wear on you.
Yes, I recommend this product.

I bought these overpants for a 2 week Alpine moto trip I had been planning for a while. Great pants, very comfortable. However, one small flaw that needs remedied upon purchase. The stretchy fabric in the crotch is somewhat water permeable after hours on the bike in the rain. After the first day in the rain I took off the pants and around my waist was dry and thigh down was dry, but it appeared that I had wet my pants. I let them dry overnight and applied some goretex compatible waterproofing spray before setting out the next day. From that point on they worked like a dream. Cool in 90F weather and warm down to 40F w/o liner. Pads are very compliant for rolling up for packing. Suspenders are great addition. The pockets, seals, and cuffs work great. The cuff zippers are larger and make it easier to manage the on/off process than earlier models, due to the increase length of the zipper.
Yes, I recommend this product.

On the TPG pant, is there any other color aside from BLACK?

I am trying to put together a high vis outfit. I really like the TPG armor as well as other features of the coat and pant. Water proof, destination liners etc. Well thought out. I am trying to avoid Black. Safety on bikes is my major concern. I can play hard but have to come back to work to pay for the fun. I want as much protection as possible, visibility being a major issue.
I hope to hear you have a recommendation for me. Thank you,
I really like my katmandu overpants (they are lighter), but are a slight downgrade from the TPG. However, they had more versatile sizing than the TPG with the same D3O pads.
