Bought this for a DR650 after trying soft sided saddle bags and panniers. I use the bike for adventure riding with some pavement and some two track and trails thrown in. Ultimately I hope to ride the bike on a several month trip across the States and into Alaska. I think the concept is great, but the actually product could use some work. The bag leaks even after following the instructions for applying the included seam sealer. The bag, according the Giant Loop, is designed for a minimalist approach. While I agree with this method of riding and camping, even with ultra light backpacking gear some things will have to be strapped to the outside, like the tent and sleeping pad. While this is not a problem, and the cam buckles do a fabulous job, it would be nice if there was a separate tarp flap that could cover extra gear. There is plenty of room inside the bag for small stuff, such and personal items, cloths, and tools. Forget about stuffing a large sleeping bag or sleeping system in there it just won't fit, I tried. The bag fits the bike well and I didn't notice it behind me. Overall the bag is good and I would probably buy it again. A little alteration would make it better for my application.
Yes, I recommend this product.
