I never ride my Monster without having at minimum: riding boots/shoes, jeans, riding jacket, gloves and full face helmet. Normally I wear the Dainese Alien leather jacket (non perforated) as my jacket of choice. Leather is the safest, so I will not say this Air-Frame jacket is as safe as the Alien. However, the days when it is +30 degrees Celsius (I am from Niagara Falls, Canada), the Alien gets a little hot in any traffic situations. So I wanted a jacket that was basically mesh with full armour (including back). This jacket fits those really hot days perfectly, because I still feel protected to some extent, rather then just wearing a T-shirt, which I hate doing. I have a Wave G back protector and a Shield Air G Level 2. I have tried them both in the jacket and they slide in perfectly. The fit is great, I wear a 52 in the Alien (snug fit) and I bought the 52 in the Air-Frame. The Air-Frame fits a little looser then the Alien. I am a 42 in. chest dead on. 6 ft tall, 195lbs. The arm adjustments work great, if I am going to be doing any kind of higher speed back roads, I snap them down tighter and they stop any flapping around of the jacket and hold that elbow/forearm armour firmly in place. So, once again, great jacket for hot days while still offering a fair bit of protection. Flows a ton of air!! Great style, comfort, and quality (as expected from the best in the busniess = Dainese). But I still prefer to wear the Alien if its not to hot outside! :)
The jacket feels extremely light!!! Like you are not even wearing anything! So there should never be an excuse that its to hot outside, and a t-shirt or tank top will have to do for the day! This feels like you are wearing a t-shirt with the amount of air it flows!

Just received my helmet today, put on my new smoke visor I bought for my black T-2 helmet (retro-fits to the Grid perfectly), and went for 45 min ride! Awesome helmet, really comfortable! Fits a little more snug then my T-2 (both are Large size), but still spot on to what you would expect from AGV. Flows an excellent amount of air, never had a drop of sweat while it was on. Graphics/paint is just awesome! The detail of the sun & moon and the high quality gloss finish really makes the colours pop more then pictures or video can show! Love this helmet! Probably won't be wearing my gloss black T-2 very often now! Wish I could afford all the Rossi graphics! Maybe next one will be a GP-Tech Winter Test or Elements :)

New delmar sz44
My new delmar size 44 fits me perfectly. Should I get G1 or G2? I got a few mixed up advises from friends about this matter. And would it get too tight with this back protector?
I am 6ft, I used to use a Wave G2, and now I use a Shield Air G2 Level 2 in my Alien. Its a snug fit with it in there, but once the jacket breaks in a bit, it will feel great. I recommend always having a back protector in there! If you are shorter, like under 5'5" then maybe the G1 I guess? I would have to look at the manual to see the size recommendation again. But I think the G1 is for much shorter people.
