I have been searching for a helmet for while trying on different ones. Unfortunately many of the bike shops are limited in the types and if they do have it, they don't have the right size. You can definitely feel the quality once you put it on. It feels very sturdy and the padding is very soft compared to many other helmets. To me, the fit is intermediate oval, but is a bit rounder than others like the Shoei Rf-1100 and Qwest. I had a small gap between the center of my forehead with the other helmets, but this one feels snug and fits properly. It is a little on the pricey side, but better to spend the extra money to get one that fits and feels great than be miserable with one that doesn't.

How black is the shoe or is it really grey?
In the video it looks very dark so that the logo is not very noticeble. .but in the image the shoe looks grey and there is a clear difference in color between the logo and shoe.

Hi,
Is it true that generally Arai shells are more compact than Shoei's for the same size helmet?....
Also, I have a round head and 56 cm. Do I go by the chart and get the small RX-Q?

It depends because I ordered the Qwest before this one. The small shoei felt like it was a bigger shell size because there there is more space in the front of helmet. Also the small shoei uses the same shell size as the medium so it kind of felt bigger. But honestly the shell sizes are relatively small compared to other helmets I looked at to begin with.
