Icon Super Duty 4 Boots The fourth iteration of our industry defining Superduty boot pays direct homage to it's SD1 patriarch. The visually defining rubber nub interface and clean pattern lines keep the boot's appearance smooth while hidden ghillie laces reduce snag potential. The new bottom unit provides increased support, durability, and grip while layered foam increases comfort. The midfoot support strap, with upgraded aluminum buckle, provides increased foot retention. I wear a size 13 shoe. The boots run a little on the big side. At first they were difficult to pull on without unlacing them completely, but as they broke in, they became easier to pull on.
Once on, they have plenty of room, and this may be the cause for them not making six months. Let me explain...
Those hidden laces that are mentioned in the video are accomplished by having the bottom four "eyelets" on each side made out of fabric mesh material.
The top two eyelets on each side are actual metal eyelets.
When you pull the shoelaces to tighten up the boots, the shoelaces slide pretty good through the metal eyelets, but not so much through the fabric ones.
This forces you to tighten up each crossing point up the shoe until you reach the top.
As the laces are pulling through the fabric "eyelets", they are sawing away at the fabric material, until eventually the laces cut the fabric "eyelets" into two pieces, rendering the shoes useless. Since the boots are a little on the big side, I had to try to tighten the laces up more than if they had fit properly.
The Security strap thing was also pretty useless, because I had it adjusted all the way in, and it wasn't real tight.
I got my boots for Christmas, and didn't use them much until about March. They lasted through about 2 months of real use.
I did not buy these through Revzilla (but wish I had).
I contacted Icon about returning them (they have a 1 year warranty) and they said I have to go through the store where I bought them (and have a receipt). Wish me luck...

Wide width
I wear a size 9.5" shoe/boot, but wear a wide size. Can you get the Icon boot in a wide size?
They are normally a little on the wide side. You should try on a pair of the normal ones. They might just fit fine. Although if you read my review, you will note that I don't recommend buying them.
