I love this thing now! It took me a while to get the routine of where & how it all does up, and how to put it on when I'm wearing a big jacket helmet & gloves... But once you spend the time to set the straps to the right size and learn how to make the most of the little zips & clips... It's Great.
And the helmet carrier is surprisingly easy & quick to use, whilst affording the helmet good protection against scratches (Careful you don't bash the helmet on something hard though - It's only a cloth carrier.
This isn't a big bag, but it's big enough to get heavy if you tote it all day.
Looks to be good quality construction, although time will tell about that.
Bag has a very convenient zip close sunglasses pouch, and a rain cover that I didn't think to use when I got caught in a downpour a few days ago... But no problems at all! Zips kept the wet stuff out and no part of the bag absorbed any water at all.
Overall, if the size is good for you, then this is a great backpack.

A very comfortable shoe/boot that has clean enough lines to be worn in the office. Once the trouser leg is down covering the top of the boot - they look very much like a business shoe.
A comfortable shoe with a narrow fit, these shoes are warm & waterproof for the winter commute.
The sole is a little soft and those who walk a lot in them may find heavy wear in a short period, but they are a comfortable shoe to be on your feet all day in.
Whilst I wouldn't trust the Monaco's to protect me in a fall if I was scratching through the hills, as a commuter shoe the protection offered would be far better than anything else you may wear to the office.

The helmet carrier on this backpack, does it hang below, attach to the back, how does it secure the helmet to the backpack and in what location?

The helmet carrier unzips from the back so that the helmet is held against the back of the pack. There is a hard(ish) rubber like material on the flap that protects the helmet from sitting on the ground when the pack is put down in an upright position. I've attached some photo's. Hope this helped.
