Sidi Discovery Rain Boots Membrane equipped to add a water resistant yet breathable barrier between the elements and the riders feet. Soft rubber sole for maximum grip. Replaceable strap system. Top grain leather and Lorica construction. Composite inner sole. Removable arch support. Exclusive cam-lock buckle system. Cambrelle lining Slim, cool non-bootie design. Rigid, shock resistant, anatomically shaped heel for maximum protection. Split grain leather inner anti-wear/heat panel. Non-Bootie Designs Sidi boots do not incorporate inner booties into their design, and for good reason. Booties make the design larger and cumbersome add to the boots thickness, which interferes with shifting, plus the inner booties retain body heat affecting the riders performance and comfort. Buckles Sidis exclusive cam-lock buckle system is acknowledged as the finest system on the planet. It must be as most of Sidis competitors have attempted to copy various aspects of it. The cam-lock buckle system incorporates a strap memory retention system. Adjust the straps once and they will be at the same position for every ride after that! No more readjusting for every ride or mid-day during a ride. Heat Shields Each Sidi boot is equipped with an anti-heat undressed leather protection panel at the same height of most motorcycles exhaust heat shields. Replaceable Parts Every bolt on component of each Sidi off road boot is available separately. Riders can change the various components to replace items that have worn or have been damaged in a crash or to make a custom colored boot to match his/her personal taste. Composite Insole A cushioned liner is provided that can be removed if the rider desires a more roomy fit. Sidi does not use steel shanks riveted to its insole like most manufactures, details such as this enable Sidi boots to enjoy a multi year service life versus the competitors multi month lifespan as over time, a steel shank can deteriorate, rust and fracture exposing the rider to injury. Lining Cambrelle is a lining that, due to its particular polyimide structure, guarantees a rapid drying rate after the boot gets wet or sweaty. This prevents the onset of mold forming which extends the boots lifespan dramatically. The Teflon treated mesh panels in the rear calf area of the boot allow humidity to escape while the boot is in use.

Initial set of boots were too small. They were returned and exchanged promptly at no charge.
I've only been out in these boots once. They are comfortable and confidence inspiring as to their protection. I broke my right fibula leg bone last year wearing the wrong style of boots for dual sport riding. Although these aren't motocross boots, I'm sure they would have saved me from that injury.
The fastener system is well designed and easy to use once fitted. They are easy to walk in right out of the box. I find the style attractive without being gaudy.
No rain yet so I haven't checked out that feature.
Yes, I recommend this product.

Thor MX Cool Socks Constructed of Cool Max, a special moisture wicking material that will keep your foot cooler and dryer longer. This lightweight yet durable material provides a more controlled feel. The best riders demand the best from head to toe, why should you be any different Sock length is 18 (6-9) and 23 (10-13) long and falls just below the knee on most riders.

Difficult to get on at first. Maybe they will expand some with use. But quite comfortable.
