I had to exchange the L for an XL. The length of the arms and the shoulders seamed to be ok but the chest down to the stomach was too snug. The XL is perfect for a more muscular build. Went with the Hi Vis and it looks pretty good. Air flow is great. It hasn't been over 80 degrees F so I can't speak to hot weather comfort but anything in the 70s is great (even a little cool in shaded areas).

Got these this week and I'm pretty happy with them. I'm 5'11" and 200lbs and I ordered the large. The pants fit well and are comfortable. I think a size up would have been too loose. The length is perfect. The air flow is great and felt like I was wearing shorts just standing outside (50 degrees). Looking forward to warm weather. If I had to complain about anything it would be the feel of the knee pads when off the bike. They hang way low but on the bike they seem to hike up and be in the right position.
Overall good pants for the money.

Is all the armor removable?
Yes. Knee pads and hip foam come out.
