After spending the cash upgrading to a GP Plus A* jacket, I was a bit hesitant to spend even more on additional armor. After getting the jacket home and checking out the "chest foam inserts" that came with the GP Plus, I was immediately glad I had bitten the bullet and upgraded.
Straight out of the package, you could tell this was a high quality product. Everything from the stitching, to materials were top notch. After about 200 miles on the road, I can honestly say the comfort and air flow are fantastic. I'm no expert when it comes to impact protection, but it's got to be better the flimsy, thin, worthless foam that comes with the GP Plus.
Bottom line - buy it.

Bottom line - buy it. You'll get peace of mind, and that in itself is worth splashing the cash.
