Technically this shoe fits the bill, it locks right on the rear sets and really functions well while adjusting foot positions for braking and shifting. The design is also right on the money. The laces go towards the outside of the shoe and have a snap in function that keep the speed lace system nice and clean. For Dainese's speed lace system one of the best features is the lock on the laces, it actually slides up to loosen and down to lock it tight. Can't say enough about the air flow with these, very well designed and thought out riding shoe. Protection is more than adequate and feels like a very nice pair of sneakers on your feet. Moving around off the bike is also very comfortable, maybe a little more arch support for walking, but remember it is a riding shoe. High praises for this one. Forgot to mention the looks, these kicks look great on the floor, pictures don't do it much justice, perfect shoe at a very good price point.

This helmet does everything really well. Head checks are excellent, cuts right through without any drag, wind noise is minimal, vents are good. Very comfortable and the fit is perfect for my lid. Optional photochromatic shield is a big plus and the magnet after running through the d-ring is also a big plus, and doesn't come loose at high speeds. Most bang for the buck I would say, has a lot of fit and feel of the higher end helmets in the 600+ range, works well in both tucked and 3/4 riding position. Do your research and you will see that this Helmet is on the money.

Perfect if you are going to be using multiple jackets or under a T-shirt with dry fit. Product feels solid, doesn't shift around while riding, very comfortable. Wish it had shoulder guards and the front was CE rated, other then that, perfect. Most CE rated pads for jackets are around 70 bucks. You can either buy multiple pads if you have two different types of jackets or you can remove the cheap foam from the back and use this for multiple types of conditions. Well worth it.

Well worth the price for the added protection. This product does exactly what it is meant to do, easy to put on and take off, great under a pair of baggy jeans, can't even tell they are there. Comfortable to ride with, walk around in, and provides excellent protection.

Wondering if I can just throw my Bell RS-1 liner in the wash machine? Also, I expect I should just hang it out to dry? Thanks!!
Just noticed the date on this, did you put them in the washing machine? How did it turn out? I just dunk them in cold water, squeeze out the excess and let them dry. Can take almost a day to dry out depending how much you soak them.

Does this come with the transition lens?
No, its 120.00 here and most other places I have found online. The dark smoke shield is only 40 bucks, the visor switch out system is so easy on the RS-1. I'm waiting for the transition "photochromatic" shield to be available here so I can get the Zilla cash on it.

Does the Bell RS-1 have speaker pockets?
I would be mounting a Sena SMH10. Does this helmet easily take speakers (ie. recess or pockets for them to mount in)?

Has Bell resolved the poor sealing around the eyeport that allows water to leak into the helmet?
I have read that the Bell RS-1 seal around the eye port does not completely seal the gap between the faceshield and the helmet allowing water to leak inside the helmet, has Bell fixed this issue?
