 Saddlemen Track Seat Honda CBR1000RR 2008 - 2012
Saddlemen Track Seat Honda CBR1000RR 2008 - 2012
Saddlemen Gel-Channel Track Seat The Gel Channel line of seats for sport bikes are designed specifically for the rider that needs a seat that can do everythingcanyon carving, track days, or commuting. Features Saddlemens Gel Channel (GC) technology (patent pending) that incorporates a split piece of SaddleGel and a channel in the base foam to relieve seating pressure on the perineal area, increase blood flow, and keep the rider in the saddle longer. Saddlemen sport bike seats offer high quality, light weight construction and styling thats second-to-none. The Track style series has hard-line looks that cant be matched by any seat on the market. These seats are covered in contrasting colors that make it obvious that its a custom, and are specially constructed using a variety of materials that specifically match each bikes colors and textures. Each Track seat is slightly bucketed in the rear section to contour to the riders body for better control during aggressive riding. Many Gel Channel solo seats come with a matching pillion cover for a unified look. All Saddlemen seats are made in the U.S.A.

Feels stiffer than stock and has a larger "flat spot" when riding. This does help keep you from sliding into the tank under braking / bouncing. First time I slid my rear off the side in a corner I was surprised, there is a little groove in the foam that made that VERY comfortable. Between that and the channel down the middle I felt very stable while "hanging it out".
Regular riding felt better at the end of a 3 hour ride than stock seat. Still need more saddle time to see if the initial feel softens at all over time (only about 6 hours so far).
Yes, I recommend this product.
