i was looking for a form fitting jacket that would show i had a waist. this was the 1st i saw, the last i tried. wasn't a fan of the strings i thought, but logically, this would be the only coat that would adjust accordingly to one's waist size. i'm 5'5 and 156 lbs and a 36 DDD...i don't look like it, but i am. the large fits absolutely perfect. the girls are a few clicks from feeling like a sports bra, but roomy enough with the liner for a slightly thick long sleeve if needed. jacket falls just below the waist line..could be slightly longer i think. the accordion sides under the string pulls are awesome for when you're in the riding position and flex back to snug your frame when you're standing around. not big and bulky around the arms or stomach area, no bunch up when moving around. actually fits like a casual fitted coat would only you have armor. the shoulder armor does feel a bit weird like it's slightly in the wrong position. the side strings would be awesome on ANY future coat if they were layered between where you wouldn't see them for adjustability. i do like the chest area. it's not in the exact 'form' of your boobs so you have a bit of support from the snug fit so when you're riding you're not bouncing. this coat would even look fine if you got off the bike and strait into a casual setting. looked forever for a coat that would fit my frame especially the chest area but cinch enough around the waist and not bunch up like a pot belly when sitting, riding, or standing. the sleeves are the perfect length, very form fitting around my wrists and i have petite wrists. will have to get used to gloves on the outside of my coat it appears because i do not think the one's i have will fit under when fully zipped. the absolute thing it needs is a zipper attachment to pants. i have an extra zipper piece and will try to have it tailored in. over all i think i'll be extremely happy with this coat...months of searching and i went back to the first one i saw that i thought would be a cheesy nightmare! it needs more color schemes! solid black and the white with black are the only two i liked..stop with the baby blue and purple...geez! go retro chic with an edge! very very happy!

Does armor come with this jacket?

it does have armor all around, but the back pad is foam. always suggest upgrading the back pad if you only have a foam liner. shoulders and elbows are protected for the average rider..upgrade if you plan on doing some serious crazy stuff.

Can this be used as a fall/winter jacket?

Is it warm enough to wear during all of fall and winter and does it come with a zip-in liner? If so, would I still need to layer up?
Thanks.

i don't think this could be worn in winter. it's a tight mesh front. it does come with a quilted liner, but the size runs snug and small so i don't think you'd be able to put a sweatshirt on under and be able to drive...unless you're a toothpick. strictly summer/beginning fall with liner for the cool nights.
